Suites are spacious and well laid out, helpful staff, decent breakfast included. Very good value. Ultimately wished we could have stayed longer because it was so nice! One of the closest restaurants about a minute's drive away is Jimmy Thai, award-winning and absolutely delicious. I think the only thing that would be mildly annoying about staying there would be needing to walk to breakfast across the parking lot in potentially bad weather, but we had no problems.

We are from Germany and are in the area on business. We had actually booked another accommodation for a 5-week stay. This was terrible, we wanted to change quickly and found this hotel online. We went straight there and wanted to see for ourselves. we met Michael Bowles, a great man. He was very nice and even showed us a room. It was possible that we could move the next morning. The environment is quiet, there are sidewalks, you can walk to supermarkets, and the room is really great. It's cleaned well every week and everyone is really nice. The breakfast is good enough and so is the gym. We are really happy that we had such a pleasant stay here. Thanks especially to Michael!

My family of 5 had to stay here on two separate occasions this year, a couple months total due to our home getting renovations. It was not an easy adjustment with three small children but the staff is so nice. They were so helpful to me one time even offering to help me carry groceries up to the room and sending someone right away to fix the air conditioning when it wasn’t working well. The grounds were always clean and tidy. The cleaning from housekeeping once a week was a perk too. My kids loved the pool and will probably talk about this hotel forever. Thanks for your hospitality!

This was our first visit to a Residence Inn by Marriott. We were thrilled to find such a nice hotel option that allows large dogs.

The staff was very friendly and the location was convenient. The only negative what's that there was a loud person above us, but that is not unexpected when we stay in hotels and did not detract very much from our enjoyment of this particular space.

The layout of the rooms was great, with exterior doors to each room. We stayed in a king studio and thoroughly enjoyed having a full kitchen as well as a fireplace in the room!

My husband is a professional puppeteer and our rescue dog and I travel with him, exploring towns while he is performing. Unfortunately, with temperature under 10 degrees on the day we were checking out, the dog and I would have been in the car rather than exploring. We asked for a late check out, due to the incredibly cold temperature. The staff was understanding and allowed us a one hour late checkout at no extra charge!

I only stayed here one night but wished that I could have stayed longer. It felt more like an apartment. Nice grounds too with walkways with benches, pool, pickleball court, and dog run in the back. Would be great for families looking for a longer-term stay also.

I’ve stayed here once before in their 1 king bed and bath suite and had a positive experience. Which is why I chose to book here again but in their 2 bed 2 bath suite since I have 2 large dogs with me. They have a dog run (not fenced in) for you to walk your dog. They also provide poop bags at the dog run. All suites have a full service kitchen including an oven. Rooms on both occasions have been nice and clean. This is more of a PSA than a complaint to any future guests for the 2bd/2ba suites. The upstairs bedroom loft and bathroom are best suited for children or shorter guests. I’m 5’7” and the bed was barely long enough for me to lay on without my feet hanging off the end. But I had to have my head very close to the headboard. The toilet for the upstairs bathroom is ridiculously low to the ground. I imagine anyone over 5’ tall is going to have an issue squatting down to sit on it. So keep that in mind when assigning sleeping arrangements with your party. The beds are VERY soft, for me this is a bit of an issue after 3 nights because I need a firm mattress for my bad back. So if you need a firm mattress like me you may want to limit your stay to one or two nights or look elsewhere. Surrounding area has a Jewel grocery store, Walgreens pharmacy, McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, and a Portillo’s! All in all it was a very nice stay once again!

Studios were spacious with comfortable couch for relaxing and a wide desk to get work accomplished. Slept well in the spacious king-sized bed and made use of the full kitchen. Plenty of closet space to accommodate the things we brought for our 11 day stay. Lots of areas to walk dog on the property and nearby. Good breakfast and very attractive staff. Common areas were well maintained, as were the rooms. Very nice workout room
and outdoor pool. Good location, also…near restaurants and highway/tollway. Definitely recommend,

This place is amazing, biggest rooms we have ever been in for the price. Second floor loft with it's own bathroom, three TVs, a fireplace...it felt like a home. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was more than spacious. Only 35 minutes from downtown through some nice suburbs, this place is great for families or to get back and relax after visiting the Chicago sites. Halfway between Great Lakes NB and the Chicago nightlife.

We are very happy with our loft style room and would like to share our appreciation of the extraordinary efforts of Assistant General Manager, Michael Bowle. Michael helped us haul our extensive baby gear after a tiring day of travel. We are all resting comfortably after our generous welcome.

My family of 4 and I enjoy every minute of our 2 week stay here! The pool was extremely nice for the kids to have something to do but the suites were incredibly homey which is lovely to my husband and I who travel the country nonstop all yr long for the past 5 yrs. We got a 2 bedroom suite and a guest room, both rooms were very clean and in good condition upon arrival, staff was extremely sweet, other guest were also very nice! We have already rebooted another 2 weeks here and will continue to do so until we find us a new home. I totally recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a Home like suite while on the travel life! Friendly staff, clean and attractive rooms, great breakfast, and perfect location. The hotel is NOT actually right on busy 4-lane Lake Cook Road. It is tucked away in a quiet area and feels more like a neighborhood.

We booked the 2 bedroom 2 bath suite . One bedroom was with the door and other one on the loft. Our receptionist was kind enough to extend our checkout time to 2 hrs as we had a flight scheduled late in the day .. thanks to him .. the accommodation was very clean and we really loved our stay .. Will surely come back for our Chicago visits..

All I can say is wow!! Their suites are spacious and they have everything you need to get to cooking if time permits. There is a decent breakfast in the mornings, and it is changed up a bit to give different options throughout the week. We have even stayed in the basic/studio rooms and those too are spacious and have everything needed just like the suites. All I can say is that my family and I were thoroughly impressed with the space we had to work with while here for a few days both times. There is a Trader Joe's and Costco not too far away. We enjoyed our stay and hope you enjoy yours as well.

This hotel had great pet friendly accommodations. We were in the 2 bedroom suite, and it was clean and spacious with absolutely NO dog/pet hair or odor! The hotel also had a "dog run" area which eliminated the headache of having to take my dog for the usual twice a day walk. I would highly recommend this hotel to pet owners who are trying to find a nice place to vacay with their fur babies 😊.

We had an awesome stay! Very kind front desk, comfortable bed, good shower, smart TV, nice pullout bed, and full kitchen. The only drawback were the trees that dropped these small leaves that would get everywhere. That really isn't their fault, though, and only affects stays during fall.

We decided to take a road trip to Illinois state beach and botanic gardens and this was the perfect place for our family of 5. Room was very clean, location was perfect, pool was clean and not too crowded, and most importantly there was enough room for everyone in the two bedroom suite. We have 3 under 5 including twin 2 year old toddlers and there was plenty enough to do to keep everyone entertained. We plan to come back in the future. The only downside is that I didn’t book long enough as there was still plenty to do/see. Train station isn’t too far away if you want to take the metra to the city for the day. Don’t think twice, book this location!

I stayed here for 3 months and it was the best 3 months of my life. The staff and cleaning crew are top notch. They’ve got a great spread of free breakfast in the morning, consistent wifi, a pool, a fire pit, a grill, a volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and even a little dog walking area in the very back with some seating that’s great for having your morning coffee at. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is a great size to actually cook in. All in all I highly recommend this place to stay short or long term in.

Wonderful place. Accommodating and relaxing. The suites are worth the price that you pay for them. Real working fireplace in rooms, all kitchen utensils available and extra linen if requested. I recommend this place to anyone that's looking for a good getaway with their spouse or a place to stay during vacation with the family.

The front desk staff that greeted us upon arrival was very welcoming, friendly with big smiles for us. Our room was large, yet comfortable. And how can you not like a hotel with an actual fireplace! There are many restaurants, grocery stores, and things to do in the area. Breakfast had many options and there was plenty to choose from. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

The staff and guests are wonderful! I had an extended stay here this summer, it was great! It really is a home away from home. There are a few dinners throughout the week that they serve as well as breakfast each morning. You have access to the gym, a pool, and a big outdoor grill. Each room is very quiet and private, you do not here what your neighbors are doing.
