Fat Rosie's Taco & Tequila Bar

I’ve been here quite a few times, I love the vibe, the atmosphere, the service is great, the drinks are very yummy too!! Orelia was our waiter & she was great. This last time I ordered mole enchiladas, I liked them however didn’t like that the chicken was diced va shredded. Would have preferred cheese, the mole sauce was very good though. My husband loves the fish tacos here, the grilled kind. The margaritas are so good! This last time I had the Amorcito, not sure if they’ll have on their menu- I think it was a February special. The shots for birthday parties are so cool, if you tell them to bring it in the airplane with a candle.

Ivan was wonderful! He took great care of us and made sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be asking to be seated in his section going forward!! Food was great, drinks were excellent!

This past September marked the very 1st time visiting a FR's location and was definitely a pleasant experience.

Clean & spacious dining area, love the decor both interior & exterior makes this a great place to celebrate birthdays and during our time dining in there were 3.

The high-end Mexican chain boasts some delicious eats at still reasonable prices and a killer drink menu with some fine cocktail choices. My wife didn't drink that evening but was surprised not to see Horchata on the menu, no biggie.

We'd definitely come back whether for a birthday or normal dining but this place is kickin' and a fun & lively vibe that makes it a memorable experience.

The food and the service were very good, my wife and I enjoyed our meals as well as the flan for dessert. Margaritas were excellent. I marked the place down some for the atmosphere only because it was a bit loud for our tastes. Nothing really wrong with that, and entirely appropriate for a tequila bar. We would just have appreciated the ability more suited for conversation during dinner.

We came here on a splendid evening with the perfect weather. We were delighted to find that this restaurant actually has a beautiful outdoor space. We ordered our favorite dishes: the octopus salad, steak fajitas, and shrimp tacos. Each item was flawlessly executed, making for a perfect dining experience.

Came to Rosie's for the first time in 2022 and liked it so much, we returned for two birthday dinners. On both of those occasions we were lucky to be served by Vince and his team. They were welcoming and the food was delicious. The complimentary birthday shots and dessert were much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was very bright and colorful. We had a party of four and all of our dishes were hot, fresh and tasty. We will be back.

I love the atmosphere in this restaurant the most specially outdoor seats. Very open, comfortable feel and small lake right on front. Just beautiful. The food was good. Tastes are kind of mild for me but in a safe zone. Mexican corn is excellent. Creamy smokey and great corn texture. Good tacos, but nothing special on the flavor. Ceviche is too mild for our taste. Drink also light as well. Slow service, but friendly.

1st coming here, food was excellent ordered cochinita Pibil My wife ordered the chipotle chicken both are very happy with the service and food. Margaritas are amazing lots of different choices and pairing. Our server Ricardo was helpful and very attentive to us. This place is great 10/10

Had a wonderful date night there with reservations we made. There were many birthdays celebrated with staff song and shooting sparklers. My wife shared that a mannequin in the bathroom spoke and spooked her all in good fun. The food was excellent. We had queso for an appetizer. My wife had enchiladas and I, 3 tacos and a beer. The basic chicken taco was a little spicier than I would have liked but I'm sure many others love it. The salmon and shrimp were also good. Beer was a little pricey at $9 but it was a big enough glass. I almost never give places a 5 star. I hope the owner pays staff well so it remains top notch. Will definitely be back.

I love the environment! The music and food are amazing! Our waiter Ricardo was funny and awesome! He kept checking on us. We had a blast!!!

Had a great time! Cesar, our server, was friendly and attentive. Also, he was very helpful with helping us chose our drinks and meals. We were a group of 9. I was also impressed with the speed of service.

The food was amazing!! The atmosphere is always like a party and I love it. Our drinks and food came out super fast which was awesome especially because it was a Saturday night. Humberto our waiter was super friendly and explained everything to my friend who had never been to this restaurant.

Great Mexican place for lunch or dinner with family or office colleagues. Atmosphere is realty great.

Ordered chicken, shrimp and salmon tacos and all were good.

Along with chips/guacamole we asked for spicy sauce and it was nice and spicy..

This is THE place for birthday celebrations! I’ve been here at least 5 times in the past 6 months with different friends every time, and all of them had a blast. The interior of the restaurant is bright, clean and filled with cultural arts—everybody is friendly, especially our great server Ricardo, and the vibe was just on point. The first time I came here was to celebrate my friend’s birthday on a Friday night. Okay, I admit, it was crowded and loud…. But it just fit with ambiance there. I feel like almost every table was celebrating a birthday. We tried most of their signature margaritas, and they were delicious. They gave tequila shots on the house for birthday tables. One of the tables next to our’s had a big party and they sent them with tequila shots on a plane/flight, which I think is cool. I would said the food were just ok, but not crummy. For desert we ordered the ice cream with churros and little fireworks while the staff brought a sombrero for the birthday person and sung the birthday song (yes, with whistle in between 😆)
If you want a more quiet time, I would suggest to maybe come during lunch or off hours. One big plus that I just found out recently was that they have a nice big patio in the back facing a big pond. Overall, fun restaurant, come and try their cocktails and enjoy the back patio during nice weather, oh and have a birthday celebration here!

Humberto was really nice 🥺. Made a birthday dinner great. He was funny, sweet, and was very sly asking me whose birthday it was and what to get them lol very sneaky. He’s super great and the food was great like always. shrimp tacos are always a must :)

Miccela is an awesome server. She helped us decide our food that we like. She is a charming and a very hospitable person. We loved her service. Service was very quick and we had great time. We will come back again.

Really enjoyed our time at Fat Rosie’s. The decor and environment is loud and vibrant. We didn’t know anything about this place beforehand so we were surprised by how lively and fun it is. There’s a lot going on so it can feel overwhelming and sometimes more attention than I personally wanted (many people approached our table- bypassed the photo ops and sombreros) but the energy is very positive and fun to see. The food is very well made and presented. Large portions and delicious margaritas. Definitely not an inexpensive dinner if you get an appetizer and drinks with your meal but you’ll likely leave with leftovers. Highlights for us were the queso and margaritas, but everyone at our table loved their meal. Will definitely return!
