Farmers Insurance - Michael Niehaus

I would like to start off with sharing my experience with this company has been great. Very knowledgeable people who answer any questions that come up. I am working directly with Nolan and will highly recommend! Very good insurance with great deals. I switched from progressive and saved a ton of money.

Great service! Nolan helped me save $300 on homeowners insurance. Also helped me set up a life insurance policy with a fantastic premium as well. 10/10 would recommend this agency for any insurance needs.

This was the only company that had a human being contacting me as I shopped around on their website for the right car insurance. Like, their guy would look at the quote I'd looked up online, and would email or text me about it to see if I needed any help w/it or if he could sign me up. After going over lots of different scenarios with him via texts, I finally called him to finalize my coverage and he was able to pull some strings to get me the coverage options I wanted for a much better price! I realized speaking with him over the phone was totally worth it.

The only suggestion I have is that you guys not suggest that we don't get our cars covered (if they're cheap cars) since the cost of the car is still enough that without insurance it would be a huge loss of thousands of dollars (so I'm not sure what the rep was trying to say there, but it sounded like very bad advice). And they need to let people know up front about the one-time credit card/debit card transactional fee (I was surprised there was more I had to pay than quoted, and don't want others to have to deal with any such surprise fees!!) Anyway, overall I think he did a great job of giving me correct info and finding extra savings. He wasn't my agent, just a rep who works for my agent, but I think he should get more credit somehow (maybe his name can go on my policy as the agent's assistant) for all his effort. I hope he gets paid well and deserves a promotion! Thanks, Nolan!

P.S. I had some glitches on my Farmer's app after I'd signed up for coverage, and was worried because all my signed documents weren't showing up in the app, but my agent Michael was very prompt and knowledgable about how to get my app up and running again... after that I was able to download a copy of all my signed paperwork and important policy documents in seconds! I also love the Signal app that they gave us to download on our phones... it tracks ALL your driving habits and gives you discounts for safe driving. It's a really smart app with customization features that let you tell it if you were actually the passenger on one of the trips or were not traveling by car. It also has these grest milestones and goals to keep you motivated... there's some that are challenging but also many that are easy-to-reach and totally doable, so you don't get discouraged. I check it almost every day to see how I've been driving and if I've met any of their goals. Thanks Michael and Farmers!!
