OMG, wayyyy better than dennys and waffle house. Good portion and reasonable price. I was so happy i left $10 tip. I definitely stopping by here whenever i am around.

So the first time I came here, I was sitting next to the owner and didn't even know it. We got in a conversation and then he asked me what I'd like. I had no idea so he suggested that I get the Reuben. Now I'm iffy on my ruebens, but he guaranteed that I'd like it or he'd get me something else. With that said I got it, and will say that it's among the best I've ever had. Just had another one today. So if you're driving through and happen to stop in, I'll tell you to definitely try them out. Great atmosphere, great people and best of all great food.

The food is really good and the service was great. Very friendly people. There's a huge parking area for truckers and it's very well lit. Just have to be careful of the potholes. Which is really not that bad. Planning on stopping here again in the future.

Had some fun with my girls. Ate some YUMMY food and took some rest pies home. Nothing better than down home food. Love places like this.

Me, chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was tender and delicious, with exactly the perfect crunch to the breaded exterior. The sausage gravy was the right sort of creamy and spice. My wife got a vegetable chicken stir fry, that she said she hasn't had as good in years. My daughters had pancakes, eggs, and corned beef and hash... all made deliciously and served with a flourish and a smile.
It may seem silly to comment on this, but my older girl was given a pour spout container and my youngest was given maple syrup in a ketchup like squeeze bottle so they could serve themselves with little mess and no extra effort from Mom and Dad. Little touches like these showed the folks here really take pride in, and care about the place. The older gentleman working the kitchen came out to shoot the breeze and give us welcome.
The food came quick, hot, and in portions enough to leave us plenty fed and with leftovers. All in all, it was a slick and modern operation, that hasn't forgotten how to make someone feel at home. This place was a really great surprise ending, and fine turn-around to what could have easily turned into a *long* day of Christmas tree shopping.
Oh! My wife and son wouldn't forgive me if I failed to mention the pork and bean soup, thick ham sliced off the bone, with a smooth bean broth that the perfect consistency. The smokey sweet smell of the ham, was almost enough to sell me on it, and I'm not a ham guy.
If you happen to be out this way, do yourself a favor and don't miss this place.

It was a great restaurant. The service was awesome and the food was really good. I thoroughly had a great dining experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a home cooked meal at a reasonable price. Keep up the great job.

Food was great, portions were great and the laid back atmosphere is good for relaxing. The waitress was attentive but not bothersome. Overall a great place to eat and plenty of parking. Which as a truck driver was very important. Highly recommended.

We rolled in at 06:05 and the waitress was awake and welcoming. This si important for us early-birds. We had hamburger steak, eggs, hash browns and pancakes. All were cooked to order. A lovely meal at a good price.

I'm a pretty picky eater. They have so many fresh and homemade options ...I had a hard time deciding. Our food was great, the service was wonderful, and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful time here. The staff is excellent and so is the food. I forgot my wallet in my truck and they didn't have a problem with letting me go get it. Very down home atmosphere.

Excellent! I really enjoyed my breakfast, I had the veggie omelet with hashbrowns and wheat toast. When the plate was served, I was about to say, you forgot my hashbrowns, they were in the omelet. It was very tasty. Very friendly service. Will repeat.

Great food and great service. Small town feel with fresh home cooked meals. Never have had any issues with service. This has become a normal stop for me anytime I'm heading through this area

Very good breakfast. Been there several times over the years before golfing on Friday's. Very good service as well. I would always give them a good rating. Service food friendliness second to mone.

It's sad to see a good restaurants go down the tubes because of not enough workers. Only serving breakfast and lunch now. Closes at 2 pm. I've been stopping here to eat for over 15 years. One of my favorite places to eat! Now I have to go elsewhere to get my supper all because no one wants to work.

I went to this place on July 5th 2020 and I had a really great lunch! The food was really good! And I got a Shake as a dessert as well and that was amazing! And when I'm back in this area again, I'll make sure to stop by!

Cutest little place. The hobo house breakfast special is so amazing and its huge! So filling and the ladies here were great. My kids loved it and so did i. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Good food great service reasonable prices. Alot of places you still feel hungry after you've eaten, not here. Had the stir fry and it was a plate full.
