Went to this guy to get my car inspected and check if the battery light was indicating a problem with the battery or the alternator.

He scheduled me for $1000 of work to pass the inspection, checked some voltages at my battery and my alternator, told me it was the battery and the alternator was fine.

I replaced the battery that weekend. When I went back to get the work done to pass the inspection he suddenly canceled on me when I arrived. Didn't call me over the weekend or anything, even after I told him my mom would have to send me $200 to be able to afford it, he had her send the money and had me get all the money out of the ATM and drive to him that morning wasting my gas after already costing me days I could have spent finding someone that would actually work on the car. I even called that morning to double check if the parts were there and everything but got a busy signal.

Then my battery light came back on. Turns out the problem was the alternator. Even went to get the battery tested and the battery was fine. And when I called him about this he tried to gaslight me and pretend he was talking about the alternator the whole time.

I've lived in Maine a few years and never met human beings as low quality as this. Reminds me of the type of scum I had to deal with back home in New York. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 star for reminding me of home.

Owner came out and nearly caused an accident telling someone they couldn’t turn around.
