The cold brew was amazing, and the atmosphere is great, scone was good, just not a fan of nuts, but very tasty. They roast their own beans and it smells like coffee when you walk in......overall would recommend it

Forte Coffee is a fantastic place to get well-made coffee drinks, and some light cafe fare. The employees are service oriented, and always make you feel welcome. The owner has done a great job of putting the focus on quality, affordability, and service. All the baked goods are made in house with the exception of the donuts which are made at Red Coach Donuts in Stevensville. The beans are roasted in-house as well, and are available for purchase for at-home brewing. If you're in the area and looking for a good place to have some coffee and conversation, this is an excellent stop.

Cute little quintessential coffee shop. As an out-of-towner, it was a little hard to find but totally worth it. The coffee was smooth. My latte was perfectly crafted. The staff was friendly, polite and efficient. I will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

When I visited, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They sell bagged coffee and were more than willing to ground the coffee for me. The shop provides an excellent atmosphere for all patrons. Most interesting is a working typewriter in the corner for individual to write notes. The fireplace in the corner really makes you feel cozy while you enjoy your drink.

They offer a few sandwiches and bottled drinks, but their speciality is the brewed drink.

Great food. I don't like coffee so I can't attest to that but I really did enjoy my food, the service and the store. Safe area safe store. Funny how the only ones who have a problem here are named Kyle.. it's a lot nicer of a shop without Kkkyle there.

SO cute inside. I ordered a pumpkin pie latte with oat milk... Best pumpkin flavored coffee I've ever had. It tasted just like pumpkin pie. A THOUSAND times better than Starbucks! The girl working was so friendly, too! Absolutely recommend.

Most amazing iced chai latte with oat milk ever! And, super delicious gluten-free brownie (made in the store). Love the inclusive atmosphere and the warm staff. Definitely check this place out.

Coffee (Forte blend) was awesome! Better than most chain places. Place is on the smaller side but had plenty of seating, was clean, nice decor, and cool workers. Menu had plenty of options and they had non-dairy milk (oat, soy, etc) which is always a huge plus for me since I have allergies. Best of all was a great indie rock soundtrack playing through the sound system (not loud, don't worry). They have bagged coffee to go as well as nice merch for the fans. Younger folks will definitely dig this place. Very chill atmosphere, definitely recommend!

Easily some of the best coffee in town, even though they just opened and are still figuring things out (like how to vent the coffee roaster exhaust). The cortado (using the Forte' Blend) they prepared for me with nicely micro foamed/textured whole milk was nice enough. I did note a hint of chalkiness in the finish, but the overall experience was wonderful. The drip they provided me was what I hoped for - smooth and easy but enough flavor to know this is a good brew ratio with none of the over-roasted burnt notes and the very much hoped-for subtle tart fruit finish.

I brought a 1-week old bag of Forte' Blend home to pull espressos and flat whites. None of the chalkiness came home with me, so I'm not sure where that came from. In any case the taste starts with a quick flash of tartness that disappears immediately, followed by a very mellow and long lasting mild sweetness (vanilla-ish), and finished with a long lingering fruitiness. The crema was all you could hope for and the grind does not need to be very fine to create the needed back-pressure.

I'm so glad we finally have a place to buy very nice freshly roasted coffee in St. Joseph. The owner really cares about doing things right here, and it definitely shows. The service was excellent and friendly. I suspect this place will be a local favorite with a large following very soon. The Forte' Blend will certainly make it into our home rotation again!

The pictures are from the Forte' Blend espresso and flat white at home.

Staff is always so friendly here. Pre pandemic this was my go to place to sit and get work done - great atmosphere and all the amazing smells especially on roasting days! Forte got me hooked on matcha lattes! They are helpful at offering suggestions and finding you the perfect drink! Can’t wait to be able to “dine in” again!!

Forte Coffee is a cozy spot where you can either sit, eat breakfast, visit, or take your purchase with you. I'm always greeted with a smile as I come in and great service. Their coffee is the best in the area, in my opinion. Coffee is absolutely their Forte. There are food offerings as well, but I have never eaten there. Usually, I have a time restraint that keeps me from indulging in that aspect of the business. They are the only place who know how to make a good tasting, sugar free, low-fat, vanilla latte. If I ask for one anywhere else, they have no idea what I'm even talking about. I truly appreciate Forte Coffee.

Great coffee! I was thrilled when this place opened, and I continue to support it. Coffee is good, the chocolate pecan scones are an obsession of mine. Love the owner and staff. Definitely worth a stop.

My father was born and raised in Italy and my mother in Spain. I have lived in both countries and have a good understanding of quality coffee. I have to say that they really know what they’re doing here at Forte. Great atmosphere and GREAT cortado. The owner Brian was really nice and seemed to have a passion and understanding of his craft which is very respectable. He spent some time explaining to my wife and I the history of why a cortado is called a cortado. Being from Spain I didn’t even know. Definitely a great place to stop and grab a cup.

Amazing small batch coffee shop that features coffee that is roasted in house! The delicious coffee is a welcome perk in the search for morning caffeine.

In addition to their coffee, they also featured locally sourced baked goods that are amazing! Check this place out!
