Pictured Rocks Interpretive Center

Great visitor center for pictured rocks and Munising as a town. They have detailed intro video and posters. Also a good place for buying souvenirs.

If you are looking for something to do while waiting for your cruise, this is a great stop to learn about the history of the area. It's free and had a well-stocked gift shop. There is an informative video that is worth the 13 minutes as well.

This was a small facility but fun nonetheless. Had a cute gift shop where I was able to get some great things for the kids and family.

One of the best gift shops in town for shirts and connected to a small museum. An educational video of the areas history plays in the back of the gift shop too

A previous bank building and neighboring store front with street and parking lot. Informative Interpretive center, park area maps, and souvenir sales. Historical documentary plays in the back.

If you visit the area, this is the place to go if you want a souvenir before you leave. Great quality clothes and the prices are reasonable. My wife picked up a really cool purse for herself and her mom.
My son likes to collect the crushed penny's when we go places and this place did not have one. That's the only bummer.
The ladies that own the place are very nice and pleasant to talk with. They have a lot of good info about Pictured Rocks.

Great learning exhibits and information. When we visited it was not staffed by a ranger, but there was still information available.

A great place to learn some history about the town and the surrounding area. There is also a gift shop attached with a lot of neat items. The owner was very helpful giving us information about things to do and places to go. Stop by and check it out.

Pretty cool little museum detailing a lot of history for the area. Also a gift shop attached; it had a good selection of stuff at comparable prices, but generally seemed a little higher-quality than a couple other shops we went in.

This is a must stop. Trails, beaches, the natural wonders that are picture rock national park. Visit it if you get the chance.

This is a really great place to start your visit of the area and pictured rocks. There is something for everyone and interactive areas for young children. We watched a very nice 15 minute movie about the history of the area and the people that live here. It's free and very well done.
