Star Prairie Sports Bar

I am extremely thankful for the family I have gained through Star Prairie Sports Bar. Every experience has been truly a great one! I have had the blessing to be able to talk with the owners and learn about her business and how they deal with everyday experiences as bar owners.

We stopped here on a Friday evening but it was a great atmosphere. Tasty appetizers and good company . Had a nice chat with the bartender. Loved it

Great service. Waitress was fantastic very friendly. Told us if our food wasn't right to make sure and let her know. My burger was well done and it should have been medium rare and they brought me out another one right away that was perfect. That's the difference between a good restaurant and a great restaurant. Great customer service. A+

Here's how to enjoy this little gem. Don't be in a big hurry. Appreciate the staff, they take great care of you. Be patient, it's not fast food, it's good food. Enjoy the fabulous desserts too! The prices are great, and the drinks are too! They have all sorts of fun things, at different times of the year (volleyball, outdoor patio, darts, pool, slots,) maybe popcorn again one day. Skip the all you can eat pasta (not my thing) go for the fish, shrimp or burgers.

My husband had a surprise birthday party for me in the back room. They went above and beyond. Food was excellent and very fair price!!!

Fish is awesome , baked , light batter or beer batter , 3 pieces with your choice of about 8 different potato's. Broasted Chicken is 2nd to none , Burgers are top quality , I dare you to find better tasting burger. The Burrito is really good to. Overall they are a very very good choice if you looking for really good food and drinks.

Very good food ‼ Fish fry Friday of course‼

We sat outside for lunch. We were able to bring our dog with us for the outside dinning, which is primarily why we chose this location. It was our first time there. The food was really good and was a great value. Service was great as well. We plan to come back.

I was invited out to dinner by my parents to celebrate a special occasion but when we got to the originaly planned restaurant, it was closed. We spent the next hour looking for one that was open. SPSB was one of only a small handful of places open on the holiday. Got there and it was packed. It was a very nice place, well maintained and clean. I went straight to the rest room. Nice and clean. Big plus. I was not there long at all but, shockingly, by the time I got back to my group, they had drinks! Before we were even ready to order, the waitress was back to take orders. She informed us she was the only waitstaff/bartender there and to please bear with her. Even though she was understaffed, she had a great attitude. Very positive and friendly. She was truly amazing. I don't think service could have been better if there were 10 employees there. We waited for nothing. Food was awesome, not a complaint. Steaks, shrimp, burgers, curds, everything was delicious. I raise my own beef and was impressed with the locally sourced ground beef. Can't say enough good things about our experience. One more nice surprise, I love Rootbeer and they have 1919 on tap and serve it in a frosty mug.

Picked up food for the 1st time tonight. Had a problem with my bill. I went back there after I ate and it was taken care of wonderfully! I’ve been in food service all of my life and this lady gave the best customer service! I was very impressed to say the least. You are very lucky to have her as your employee. The food was good but because of her incredible service I will definitely be back!
I didn’t catch her name (May have been Stacy on bill) but she’s definitely a keeper!

Nice clean establishment with an extensive menu. Food was good and service was exceptional.

Servers were attentive and super friendly. I had the parmesan and herb crusted walleye. It was absolutely mouth watering! Reasonable pricing doesn't hurt, either. I highly recommend you give them a try. Lots of variety on the menu, too.

I think I’ve already reviewed here and maybe it’s my proximity to this place but I’ve had another wonderful time with great food for great prices while daylight.
Their breakfast portions are good size with a wonderful assortment of options and most weekend mornings have great fresh baked goods like cinnamon rolls, turnovers etc.
I ALWAYS have the Mexican omelette with some minuses and it’s always great.
Exquisite taco flavor with just the right mix of spice, cheese, fresh tomatoes, onion, green pepper and plenty of PROTEIN, the taco meat, unlike any other tavern with a Mexican choice for breakfast in the area.
If you ask, they may have American fries available & they’re are always delicious. Bread is freshly baked usually, but not always.

This establish is almost an hour away from where I live But totally worth the drive. Great spot to hang out, bartenders are fantastic polite and fun. Brought our kids there for a Sunday fun day to hang out. Food was absolutely incredible. Will definitely return several times a month!!

I've been going to this place weekly since I moved to the area a few years back. They have incredible food and service. I used to love eating their pretzel bites before I found out I had celiac disease. I highly recommend their burgers and their chicken sandwich as well. They have great weekly dinner specials. I personally like their wing night the best. The atmosphere and service is better than any other bar in town. I will continue going to this place as long as I live in this area.

The only negative thing I could possibly mention, which really isn't even that negative, is that occasionally their touch tunes machine doesn't work. That's really my only complaint though.

Otherwise, a great bar for food, drinks, or to watch the game.

From outward appearances this place looks like a typical western Wisconsin bar. Once inside you will be welcomed by a very friendly wait staff, choose from a number of delicious and filling home cooked menu items, and be pleasantly surprised by the affordable check.
Best breakfast in the county!

Moved into the area and decided to try out the local Sportsbar. Breakfast skillets were hot and tasty, bread was awesome so I asked for to-go box for my toast. Appears to be a very nice establishment. Bringing my family back for breakfast get together, all 14 of us.

So AWESOME to have a bartender willing to stay open a little later for you and make you a burger to eat after an eventful sat if Volleyball Officiating!!! Thanks SO MUCH Amy!!!

Very good breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy. Ashley was awesome. She treated us as family. This is a gem of a place I can't wait to return.
