My partner and I went for our anniversary and we couldn't believe we'd never gone here before! For an appetizer, we got the brushetta, which is very tasty but is actually just a caprese. He got the tuna steak and I got the salmon. We split a slice of cake at the end (lemon cream?). Good prices and great food.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome! Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu which made it so easy to order oysters specifically! The atmosphere was so relaxed n beautiful. Was the best meal we have had in Maine!

We were visiting the area with a large group of family and the restaurant was very accommodating. The restaurant was very nice with excellent decor and a superb atmosphere. The staff were very professional, attentive, and friendly. The food was out of this world and worth every penny. The quality was exceptional, and I asked to speak to the chef personally to praise him and his team. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Recommendation for our Anniversary. Researched ahead of time. They were right about getting there early to have the best selection (out of everything scallop and the stroganoff when we arrived. Out of most desserts by the end).

Every bite of food was as I'd expected, and we went in with high expectations. Shrimp Cocktail (HUGE shrimp), Escargot (not at all chewy), Salmon (Husband asked if I could learn to make it), Ahi Tuna with the Deviled Egg Cavatappi subbed for rice cause I wanted to try it.

Literally every bite was delicious. Our Server was clearly stressed, but there were a lot of guests and he was hustling. He hid a piece of cheesecake for my Husband, which he wouldn't have gotten otherwise. The only other choice was the Lemon Cake, but that's what I would have chosen anyway. Very happy.

Absolutely loved this place! Such an absolutely beautiful little hole in the wall, I almost walked by and am so glad I didn't! The food was to die for, the staff was kind, and the atmosphere was nicer than any I've been to in awhile! I have the duck and had to resist getting seconds! 100% going back soon!

18 below is a wonderful place to go when you want to treat yourself. If you get Alex as your server, you're in for a treat. Alex is amazing and makes the best Caiparinha drink!

My wife and I have only been a couple times and each time was amazing. Highly recommend.

Legitimately one of the best dinners my dad and I have had in our entire life. The salmon was THE BEST. This place has a really cool vibe and good beer selection, but the food just blew us away. Can't recommend enough.

So.... nothing bad to say about the place. The food was delicious, and service exceptional. I am just an old fat guy who is also a simpleton. I recognize that the food was delicious and had great choices with good portions....but honestly lost on me. Simple burger and fries is more my style.Not the restaurant's fault. Dishes range from $20-$40 or so. If you are out to impress the wife or in-laws with casual fine dining while wearing jeans....this is the place.

Always a great place to get together with family to celebrate birthdays, etc. I live in Scarborough, but grew up in Fairfield and still have family in the area. The drive for dinner is worth it, the portions are huge and the leftovers are great.

We had a bigger party for a birthday and Alex was our server. He was amazing and so patient and accommodating! Great food, we love it here.

Amazing seafood dinner especially the dive scallops. Friendly service and the food took longer but you can see and taste the difference in quality. For appetizers the bruschetta was the best I ever had. The Maine oysters on the half shell was also delicious and fresh. The colossal shrimp is indeed colossal. Definitely check it out.

Everything was phenomenal. The pasta I had with the arctic char was so good! We picked the place because it had so many seafood options on the menu. We were initially turned away because it was a busy night for reservations. But the host, Gordon, was so awesome. He made it work for us between an upcoming reserved space. We were very impressed with the service and even more impressed with the food. 11/10, would definitely enthusiastically recommend.

Another great meal. I love their shrimp cocktail and sauce! Service was a little slow tonight, but food and service was excellent!! They made it right!!

The food was fabulous, and I appreciate us five being seated 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. Basement located and pleasant atmosphere.

Visiting from ohio. Even tho a very busy weeknight we had excellent service.
And this was a wonderful treat.
Dinner for 4. Sammon cooked to flakey perfection. Coquilles st. Jacques creamy Scallops sealed in a parmesan crusted top. crab-filled flavorful moist haddock and fork cut tender ribeye. Everyone left full and happy!

Yet another great meal at one of the best restaurants in the area. Just when I think I have eaten lobster every way possible, I discover the lobster cutlet! What a delicious entree! The sauce was spot on to accompany the crispy coating on the pounded lobster tail. The service is always too notch, the ambiance very upscale rustic Maine, and the Moscow mules refreshing. I tried the creme brulee for dessert and it was as good as anything I could make at home (I do consider myself a bit of an expert making this particular dish! ) with our fresh eggs from from our backyard chickens. 18 Below is other for that special occasion...or really any time you want a five star meal served elegantly and made from fresh local ingredients.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal this past week. The menu has a large selection of items making it almost too hard to choose but I ended up with the Tiger Prawn Shrimp Scampi and my wife had the Duck offering. We shared an Escargot appetizer and my only complaint is it comes with too little bread to soak up all that great garlic and butter so had to order some garlic bread that did the trick. The Wine and Beer choices were very good and the dessert was a perfect Italian Strawberry Cream Cake.
