I stopped in on a whim doing some Christmas shopping, and saw some beautiful prints by Waterville artist Barbara Chase. I purchased one, and they had a perfect reclaimed wood frame for it. As I needed to get on a plane the next day, I purchased all the materials I would need to mount it myself. As they were preparing it, the wonderful folks behind the counter were like: “actually, it’d be safer traveling if we just…mounted it for you.” So, with 10 minutes until closing time in the midst of the Christmas rush, the lovely staff mounted the work for me and helped me pack it. It turned out beautifully; above and beyond in every possible way!!!

Lovely people and very helpful! Lovely personalities and so pleasant to talk to! Were so patient with my pickiness over the perfect frame I was envisioning for a 1840 newspaper leaflet. Had an absolute ball here and hope to work with them very soon ❤

Brought in three prints that were fractionally different sizes from one another, and asked that they be custom matted into identically-sized matching frames to minimize the difference between the print sizes. Framemakers knocked it out of the park. Could not be happier with the job they did. All three look fantastic. Excellent customer service from consultation to finishing. Highly recommended!

Brought in an old matted photo and signature of Hollywood great, Boris Karloff. Not only did the personnel at Framemakers restore it to pristine glory, they explained every step of the way. I plan to bring more work down to them in the next year or so. Very professional!

I had brought in an old poster that I had acquired years ago while traveling with the hopes of hanging it, that time is now. The poster though not creased it wasn't smooth either. Brian worked with me pulling together the right combination of materials and colors that would make my poster pop. It came out amazing! The poster is perfectly smooth and the frame makes it pop. It was so beautiful that if I didn't already own it I would have bought it. If you are looking for someone who is an artist with frames I heartily recommend The Framemakers!

These employees are the best in quality of care, professional services and personable. They ask qualifying questions, offer solutions for this newbie, even checking the range of enlargements for optimal resolution from the shots I took with my camera on my phone. What a gem of a find!
