Dr Auto Repair

So we limped into Dr Auto Repair with a transmission alarm going off. It was day 2 of our 32 day trip towing a 26 foot travel trailer. They had a look and our transmission was fried..... we are from Canada and we were in a serious bind with a snow storm bringing 24 inches of snow the next day. They ordered a new transmission, let us park our travel trailer and plug in our refrigerator. And if that wasn't enough they loaned us a vehicle to have while they did the repairs. Lovely people, we were back on the road and we have had no more issues. Made it to Hilton Head. Could not say enough wonderful things about this business. They were awesome.

Mitch is the best. We have referred at least 7 families (probably more) to Dr Auto and every single one is happy and refers more people! We used to go to Kennebec Auto but over the years they changed and we no longer felt like they were as honest as they once used to be. A coworker told me about Dr Auto and she said you can really trust them. Well she was right, and that was over 6 years ago! Mitch is a one of a kind. Honest, respectful, and just a nice person. You won't go anywhere else once you use Dr Auto!

I feel like I have auto shop PTSD from an incident I had a year ago (at a place in Bangor- I typically come here but my car broke down there) and they empathized with my situation and were so kind. I’ve come here a few times over the past 5 years since I got this vehicle. They had to wait for a part but I was given the option to leave my car and had it back in a week (the part took 3-5 days I believe and work 2 days) and I feel so much safer driving myself and my son around. My car is driving perfectly. He charged half of what I paid at the other place for double the work- with the amount of work I needed I was expecting around $1000+ (mind you, I am a 25 year old female and know nothing about cars) and it was just over $500. I’m very grateful and will be returning any time my car needs work! Wish I could have tipped you!

Mechanics are like doctors, you need to find one who is smart, experienced and who you can trust. Took me awhile to find Dr. Auto but once I did I have never looked back. They are smart and incredibly honest. I hesitate to leave a good review because once someone tries them, they will never want to go anywhere else. They take care of 4 vehicles for our family- I love those guys. ( I have pick up with 380k which has lived a hard life, it is still going strong, they maintained it from day one) You can not find anyone as competent and as trustworthy as these guys. They just continue to deliver it up, fair, honest and smart.

I will ONLY use Dr Auto. Before I found them, I searched and searched to find honest car repair places, and could not find anyone I could trust. They have been taking care of my cars for years, and as long as they are in business, they are the only garage I would even consider. They are honest, reasonably priced, and let me know immediately if there is more than they expected so I can decide whether to have them proceed. Highly highly recommend this garage and have sent many people their way.

I absolutely love the service I receive, when I go to Dr. Auto...Mitch and John are great guys and they're very honest. I've dealt with shady mechanics before but I 100% trust the work these guys do. Thank-you Dr. Auto. 👍👍

Brought my 2012 Infiniti in to have the alternator looked at. They determined it was definitely the alternator. Gave me pricing on an alternator they could get and offered to install one that I found online for cheaper. They did the work quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles there in the future. Super friendly, down to earth staff.

Had a breakdown Sunday evening and had my vehicle towed to their shop Sunday night. They had the parts ordered Monday and my vehicle was back on the road Tuesday! Fast and professional service from all that work at Dr Auto! Thanks again!!

I am sometimes skeptical if auto repair shops operate with integrity and honesty, however I can say unequivocally that Reggie, Mitch and the rest of the crew at Dr. Autp do in fact operate that way. I was treated with respect and given accurate estimates for work to be performed. 10/10 would recommend.

Had issues with mice damage to my defroster. They were able to repair the problem, a long process due to the damage done. Love the system they have to be able to pay online and pick my car up after hours . Highly recommend!!!!!

They quickly diagnosed my issue that I was having difficulty troubleshooting. They made suggestions about my vehicle safety. I'll definitely go back! Jon and Mitch are awesome. I love Dr. Auto!!! I want to one place and they were going to charge me almost 900 dollars for an oil leak. I went to Dr. Auto and it turned out the last place I got an oil change left the ring from the old filter which caused the leak. So it only costed me an oil change. I haven't gone anywhere else since. Mitch is a down to earth honest guy!!! I will never go anywhere else!!!

Had my winter tires removed and summer tires put on. They always do a great job. Always feel safe in my car with their repairs.
