Jilly Beans Coffee House

Thank you for your help, Amber. My sister is a patient at Hillsdale Hospital. I live in Detroit and wanted to send the care unit some sweet treats to say thanks for their excellent care. Amber made recommendations, wrote out a note for me, and will have the items delivered to the hospital. I’m eternally grateful. 10/5 stars for service! The atmosphere of the place was amazing I felt right at home and felt more relaxed. I love the variety different coffee mixtures and choices of food to eat as well and I ended up buying myself a large iced black forest Coffee and it was extremely delicious! I can recommend this place to any coffee lover!

I moved to Hillsdale a little over a year ago and was looking for a new Coffee place to get an ocassional
Latte or other Coffee-related drink and Jilly Beans always was either at the top or the top two Coffee places that everyone suggested. I've grabbed a couple of Lattes there, although I should make a point to visit more. I always have great service and the staff greet me every time I go in.

The food (Lattes in my case) gets a 4. I wish there was an option for a 4.5 because the food is excellent there. Almost like my old Coffee place when I lived in Jackson.

This little coffee shop is such a charming little place to enjoy a nice cup of coffee, cold or hot! We both enjoyed a nice frappe, the caramel and peanut butter are delicious!! They also serve food as well and sweets! I recommend coming to this coffee shop if you're ever in the area or just want a place to enjoy a nice affordable beverage! I will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love grabbing lunch here for business meetings! We take our staff out once a month and always enjoy coming here. The drinks are divine! The food is above and beyond.
Quality is great, quantity is huge! I would go every day if I had the time. The staff is so friendly, and I enjoy the time they take out to make sure your order is correct. I have not ever received the incorrect food or drink here.
The location is perfect. There is plenty of parking behind the building with an entrance from both sides of the building.

Delightful place to stop for coffee, tea, breakfast items and pastries. I had one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever tried, loved it!

I’ve been coming here since 2016 through both a location and an ownership change and I’ve never tasted anything short of amazing from here. The chicken salad sandwiches are SO good. The staff is friendly and it’s truly one of my favorite places in hillsdale. I’m allergic to nuts and they have all of their nut free pastries labeled which is really nice, as well as labelling their gluten free items. The menu is very user friendly and makes the process very easy for anyone that might not know much about coffee drinks.

Excellent overall experience. Very peaceful atmosphere, many options to choose from, and friendly staff! Highly recommend.

Great Chai Tea Latte, best I have ever had. Super friendly service and both gluten and non-gluten treats. The cinnamon roll was epic 😊

Had hot chocolate here this morning. Was my first time in. I was impressed with the great customer service, the lovely selection of baked goods and other foods, and the abundant seating. I would definitely go back .

Jilly Beans is a true gem of the Hillsdale community. Situated in downtown, the atmosphere inside and outside the coffee shop is very inviting. The courteous and friendly staff add to the overall experience. If you are searching for a place to catch up with a friend or catch up on your work, this is the place to go.

It's was really good! The employees where very nice. The food and drinks where amazing! There where lots of seats and tables to sit at and it was very quiet. That also have this thing where if you get 10 stamps then you get a free drink. But it's online so you don't have to keep track of any cards when you go there!

I LOVE this place! My friends and I came here because the pictures looked beautiful and we were also visiting the town. The coffee drinks are not like Starbucks or Biggby, they are all made with fresh ingredients. So many options! The straws also change colors which is super cool! Mary-Ellen and Becky were so sweet and made us laugh, Becky even brought our food to us outside. Very friendly staff, wholesome ingredients, and warm environment.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable about their different coffees. Really relaxing, casual atmosphere and DO NOT MISS THE GARDEN ROOM!!! It's like stepping into a whole other world ♡ My mom and I went there for our first time and orders coffees and cinnamon rolls, when we saw the garden we were amazed at it's beauty and serenity ♡♡♡

We ate there for breakfast, the food was amazing!

Came to bring another son to Hillsdale College and our oldest son’s friends all said this was the best coffee shop. It’s a block across the street from St Anthony’s Catholic Church which we had been several times for holy Mass. This coffee shop goes out if it’s way to make it exactly like you want and wouldn’t let me pay until I assured them the coffee was what I was expecting. Also has a light breakfast menu and lunch menu. Includes gluten free cinnamon roles which were excellent. Went back more than once! Highly recommend.

The coffee is good and their drink menu is expansive. The lady behind me ordered an Italian soda and in front, a cake batter soy latte!
That said, the service is very accommodating, and they even have vegetarian options! The quiche I had was delicious and the price for everything was a steal compared to most of the coffee shops I frequent.
The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. The furniture has an antique store, eclectic vibe. The entire place exudes a wonderful welcoming feeling, and I almost want to skip work to stay!

Stopped in yesterday while driving through for work (2 hours from home). We like trying independent coffee shops like this. Beverages were great. They freeze coffee for ice cubes which is a really neat idea to not dilute your beverage. The food was really good, too. They even made a chicken salad sandwich special for my kids who don't like cranberries. We were greeted with kindness and generosity.

When I walked outside, I realized that my vehicle had a terrible coolant leak and it was just after 5 on a Friday (mechanics and car rental agencies closed for the day/weekend)

After calling around and feeling somewhat defeated, I went back in to grab some additional food/beverages for my wife and kids.
We were allowed to stay inside the cool coffee shop after closing hours, offered food and drink, as well as recommendations for local attractions and accomodations. We were literally clothed and fed.
Longer story short, a personal friend was called in on our behalf who took a look at the truck where it sat. We found a way to get home, but they even offered to move my vehicle from one mechanic to the other if the first place couldn't fix it over the weekend.
This place easily competes with just about any other coffee shop out there, but the people are more than just a notch above the rest. They went more than an extra mile to help us when we were stranded hours from home. This isn't just the coffee you want in your life, these are the kind of people you want in your life.

Ps, I write this after my family just finished a breakfast accompanied by delicious scones given to us yesterday as they closed their doors for the day.
