I am changing my review because I was wrong about the return policies of other stores and you pointed that out to me very effectively. I did not read the fine print, so to speak.

I am sorry for being confidently and obstinately wrong; I’m sure you already have to deal with customers like that all the time. Thank you for handling my unfounded complaint in a professional manner.

I’ve been here dozens of times, and they have a solid selection and helpful staff. It’s rare that I can’t find what I need for homeowner projects. Their new building is organized, attractive, and clean. I love having a good locally owned hardware store just a few minutes away.

I would personally refer them. The customer service you encounter there is nothing short of extraordinary. I've ordered many things special order. I enjoy working with the staff, and they work hard learning your name and treating you well. The effort they put forth to provide you with a great experience is phenomenal. I love the new store guys! Keep up the good work. Job well done to Drew and the crew!

They are a bit pricey, but have a good selection

The staff is super friendly and helpful. I came in with a plumbing issue. Drew, one of the associates, gave me advice how to resolve it in no time.

I think their great they always have everything I need and I get it fast, it's like they are standing there waiting for me to get there. Very friendly and helpful and will take back any product bought from their store as long as it's not used or damaged. You guys are great I would refer you to anyone and you will always have my business thanks for being there for us and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The place is always clean and organized. Every isle is clearly marked. Staff are super helpful and friendly.

Hardware super store , enormous variety , unmatched , and competitive pricing !!! Grant has it all , including knowledgeable staff . Even if if you don't have an immediate need for anything specific it is worth the time to pay it a visit and wander all the isles. You probably won't leave without something. It is a well stocked and friendly store with a delightful sense of balance and humor .👍✌ Go there ☆☆☆☆☆

Experienced staff, they always come up with a solution for my projects. They have or can order anything I need for my repairs and renovations. Great store with good old fashioned customer service!

Gelzer's also known locally as Hillsdale hardware has moved to a new location with a completely new updated look. It is still the place to go for all the odds and ends of your daily projects. I use them almost every week. Great service.

Gelzer's and the owner Grant define what a hardware store should be. Besides competitive pricing and having just about anything I need, they offer me savings in a area most valuable to me....my time.

At a big box store it takes me 15 minutes to find someone and the another 15 minutes to find what I want... and then I'm not even sure it's what I need. At Gelzer's I'm immediately greeted and 5 minutes later can be out the door with exactly the solution to my hardware need. That's respect and service.

During the summer, I'm a regular weekend customer, as they have what I need for all the projects. Lots of staff on hand to direct and help. Good hours too. I'm always willing to pay a little more to keep this gem alive in Hillsdale.

Great hardware store! They have lots of odds and ends but with better service and knowledge than box stores. The prices are decent but they could be better. The convienence makes up the difference though.

These folks are great, they are open late and on the weekends, EVEN Sunday. They have had everything I needed. Great Job guys...
