Mt Hope Catholic Cemetery

My niece and I were there last June and the woman in the office was very helpful. She gave us as much information as she could and a map to the headstones that we were looking for.

Thank you Mt Hope Cemetary. Your people are very accommodating, compassionate, and friendly. They kept in touch with us throughout this sad time and were amenable to our wishes.

Staff does an outstanding job maintaining the grounds.

Catholics are dying to get in there! A comfortable way to spend eternity.

Grounds staff takes things from ground site and moves it and now i have my mothers angel stolen from there with decorations too. Grounds also weed waked flowers down that was unnecessary too. No reason for taking respect for the dead.

This cemetery is poorly maintained... grass is mowed in general areas but no weed whacking f which allows the weeds and grass in smaller areas to grow very high....and hundreds of ant hills on parents gravesite. it looks like the groundskeepers only tend to those areas by the roads to give the impression of good Maintenance. Don’t put your loved ones here... it’s shameful.

I feel sorry for the people whose family is in Mount Hope Cemetery. I was trying to help out people on findagrave. No website no map. Girl in office said she did not have time to look up 6 graves for me and that i should send her an email. Here I thought....you work in the cemetery but you don"t have time to look up graves? So sorry they are so rude and cannot help family looking up genealogy from there. Think twice about putting someone there. JS

The spring of 2021 the lilac tree at my wife’s grave was removed by the cemetery The peony plant I planted to replace the Lilac has been removed this fall.
