Beautiful! Picnic tables and children's play area with nice green space and a view of the Muskegon Channel. Short, pretty walk to Lake Michigan with gorgeous views. There's even a playground right on the beach! Highly recommend!

Great scenery and educational posts makes it a great place for a walk. I've seen deer and swans both early in the day. So relaxing

It was nice to sit and watch the boats going by and the ferry had to wait for a large ship / barge to go through the channel (it said Lafarge on the side)

I absolutely love this park! There's a picnic pavilion, a bath house with toilets, a playground, lots of picnic tables and plenty of parking and shade trees. You're a quick walk to Pier Marquette Beach, a light house and the Silverside (submarine that can be toured). Walk out to the light house, tour the sub, watch the boats in the channel, or just relax and enjoy the park. It's a great place.

Great Family getaway Beautiful upgrades to the park & deck area. Parking is a bit expensive unless you purchase a seasonal ticket. Park passes don't work because they are a city park.

On Lake Michigan and the channel to Muskegon Lake. Great sunsets. Walk out to the lighthouse..when the waves are small. Machines are close to a purchase a daily sticker or buy a yearly sticker for $20. It's well worth it. Wonderful white beaches. No lifeguard.

Our first picnic this year. Watched one lonely boat in the channel, and shared our lunch with a sea gull. Such a pretty day as we enjoyed the gazebo on the channel. Our favorite get away.

For those that don't like the nearby Pere Marquette beach, this might be a better place to go. This park has a nice view of the Channel, the passage of water between Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan. Here, you can see ships passing between those two lakes. It is also a nice place to go fishing.
