The Coffee Factory

This place is a must-visit whether you’re a Muskegon native or just passing through! This little coffee shop is an oasis for the introverted bookworm and social butterfly alike. The coffee is top tier, the food was light and tasty, and the vibes were impeccable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! So happy that a place like this put down roots in Muskegon.

If you are visiting or if you are a local, The Coffee Factory is a total vibe! It is 100% one of those places you see in a Hallmark movie or read about in your favorite novel. Everything is perfect! From the staff, to the fresh made pastries, cakes, & sandwiches, to the drinks, & all the way to the selection of books & vintage items for purchase. Total vibe.

This place is coffee, bakery, and book store heaven with a nice touch of community hub. Stop in and meet great people. The chicken salad is phenomenal!

When you think of cozy, fun, inclusive and a quality product - you think of the Coffee Factory. Set in an older industrial building, turned into apartments and event center, it's the perfect spot for a pick me up. Or your next book. Or your next celebration cake. Or your next vintage clothing find. It's truly a wonderful, community-centered business that I adore.

Not only do they have wicked good coffee, but they offer a WIDE variety of baked good and deli items. Vegan, gluten free? They have something for you. We ordered a birthday cake in August and were pleased with it! I've also had numerous baked goods and breakfast items. All were fabulous.

I had a black coffee, the vegan goulash and a bacon cheddar frittata. All very delicious. The staff was very helpful.

I grew up in Muskegon area. In 1995 I was 20 years old and moved to Kalamazoo. I grad WMU 2001.

I've lived in Tempe, Los Angeles, Charlotte and Atlanta. Not to mention GR, Saugatuck, Holland, GH and Battle Creek.

So nice to see such a great cafe in Musk. I just moved back to Muskegon last November.

I see there's an open mic night. Can't wait to read and experience more.

Amazing and sweet customer service. The drinks and food we had were so amazing!

They had a wide selection of sweets, sandwiches and other foods to snack on while enjoying your coffee.

Great food options including vegan and non-vegan! Very well made spicy mocha! 👌 absolutely love the vibe for working in too!

Great coffee place! It's even bigger inside than it seems from the outside. Good dairy free and vegan food and drink options. Espresso drinks are delicious!

Friendly, kind, and active staff accepting any questions, answering as honestly as possible of the history of the building.

They pay massive homage to the factory and it is so cool seeing people who care.

Have come a few times, love the atmosphere. Very cozy and the employees are very personable. I've enjoyed my drinks and hanging out while I write or read.

Pride flag hanging outside made me feel extremely welcome. Two different employees complimented my hair! All together a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I got a cinnamon roll, cream cheese danish, and a latte and it only ran me about ten dollars! Very affordable and very good quality. My first time in Muskegon but I'll be sure to remember this place next time I'm here!

Love this place and you will too. Lots of different flavors lattes, wife and daughter tried "the blueberry latte". I had a regular coffee- this place uses high quality beans.

Funky industrial coffee lounge. Super-friendly staff and excellent fresh coffee and a great range of tasty eats. Highly recommended.

Loved it there. Friendly staff. Warm and cozy inviting place.
Coffee was good and so was my bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam.

This place is in an abandoned warehouse building. You would be tempted to go elsewhere because of the state of the building at some angles, but you'll be missing out on an awesome coffee shop with great snacks and drinks. Don't skip this place.
