Smoke On the Water BBQ & Catering

5 stars is not enough! I am from the south and to be honest, some of, if not the best ribs I have ever, let me repeat EVER had! Erica, our waitress, definitely a 10 star right there.

This was a great visit, the Comfort Bowl was great! The cornbread and mac were good, but the meats really were the star to no one's surprise. We got one with pulled pork and another with Brisket, while I preffered the pulled pork my wife liked both equally. She also enjoyed the original and siracha bourbon BBQ sauces, the Korean BBQ sauce was nice as well but really packed a punch with the ginger. Although we came in only an hour until closing they were very kind and accommodating, there were even a few more tables seated much later after us as well, none of us were rushed at all (although we did leave at closing time). All in all its definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and looking for some barbecue.

Great bbq joint. Service was really good. Sauces are solid. Meat was delicious. Ordered extra chips to go.

At the request of our nephew we ordered take-out last weekend. Everyone was very impressed with their meals. Today my husband and I dined in. Our server was a super sweet young woman who was very attentive and helpful. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and nicely flavored, as were the sweet potato fries. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Cod and onion rings. There were plenty of leftovers for another meal for each of us.We both enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely be returning and when we can't there's always take out!

Wow! I went here with my mom and two Aunts for the first time. They had the fish and chips and I had the sliders. All the food was amazing. The portion size was very generous. Their homemade BBQ sauces were delicious. I actually went back there the next day for lunch because it was so good. I took my 3 little ones and they ordered off the kid menu. All three of them enjoyed it. We will definitely be back. I also took home 2 of their homemade BBQ sauces. Service was also great. Great music. I'm happy that the bar is separated from the dining area. Highly recommend!

Man, I wish this restaurant were closer to Ann Arbor! The homemade mac and cheese is amazing. I also got the nachos were were delicious. My friend got the Fleetwood mac and cheese, which she said was amazing. I guess I need to day trip to Lake Huron more often and then I can stop here again.

First time here and it won't be the last. Started with a 1/2 order of nachos. Only $5 and was a dinner sized portion. They use homemade kettle chips. Delicious. Sampled all of the meats. Ribs fell off the bone. Everything was super tender. Flavor was good. Husband said pork may have been a little heavy on the smoke, but I didn't mind. House BBQ sauce was delicious. Baked beans were good. Garlic mashed potatoes were good too. Mac and cheese was good but the sauce could have been a little thicker. Would like to see a Carolina sauce added, maybe other flavors as well. We definitely plan on coming back. Very well priced and tasty. Friendly staff. I want to add, I'm not normally a fan of cornbread. But their cornbread, with the honey butter (I think) that comes with it, is SO good. Melted over top, wow. I'm getting hungry thinking about it.

First time here today and let me tell you… WOW!!! Absolutely amazing food!!! Tried all 3 meats and the flavor was AMAZING! Smokey, very tender and juicy! Ordered the White cheddar Bbq nachos to start.. it was filled with the meat of your choice (chose chicken) the toppings were plentiful and fresh! Main course was the Comfort bowl, HOLY COW it was delightful! They do NOT skimp on portions and everything was very fresh and definitely homemade!! Service was outstanding!! Our waitress was very helpful with any questions and recommendations. Will definitely be a frequent visitor!!

Food was great! Only thing I would say is the cornbread doesn't taste like cornbread at all. Is More like cake.. I like sweet corned bread too. Everything else was Delicious.

We stopped in while in town for an event and everyone in our party agreed we were so happy we chose here for dinner. Everything was great. The BBQ was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The ribs fell off the bone, the chicken and pulled pork was seasoned so well and tender, just amazing. A lot of times if a restaurant has really good BBQ the sides are “just ok” but every side we tried was so good. The mac and cheese was amazing, the coleslaw, garlic mash they even have great coleslaw. Aside from the BBQ, my husband had the lake perch and said it was delicious as well. Our service was fast, friendly and accommodating with two small children. You will not regret trying this place!

First (and not last) time here. They were busy but polite, nice, and friendly. Just a really good experience (hate to find these days!) good food and good customer service. Will be back!

Awesome atmosphere. Great service. Delicious food. It is definitely one of the best, if not the best restaurant I have been to in the area and quite honestly in Michigan in general. Keep up the great work! Hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely love this place and every chance my family and I get we come here. Food is always delicious and the servings are always plentiful. I would recommend this to anyone who loves BBQ…

All I can say is WOW! Great food, low prices, huge portions. The cornbread (which I think tastes like corn cake because it is so moist) was so delicious! Had perch, brisket and pulled pork and it was all very tasty! We have enough leftovers for another dinner!

Nice surprise. Saw this place after we gassed up. Fast, friendly service. Barbecue was delicious. I got a sandwich with pulled chicken and slaw, wife got a sandwich with brisket and slaw. Awesome portions! Meat falling off the bun. Wife had the mac and cheese as a side. She said it was a really nice balance of the macaroni and cheese. The potato salad was really good too. Clean restaurant, I liked the decor ( 60s through 80s rock posters). Will definitely be back.
