Optimist Park

Great skatepark and playground. The only problem is the older kids can act inappropriately at times, and the playground was vandalized. Besides that, it's very well built and the kids had fun!

It has a little something for everyone, a new skatepark with a drinking fountain and playground and picnic area. The only problem is there are no bathrooms and the picnic area is very close to a busy street so it could use a fence around the park for the safety of small runners. But other than those two things it's a very nice place.

Great skatepark in a great city. Would love to live here. Also met Cody Cepeda here local skateboard legend the first day I entered the city.

The new play structure allows for special needs children to play too. There are basketball courts, a skate park, and a pavilion for gatherings. Plus a large grass area where you can set up to other things, (soccer, football, batmitten, volleyball, ect..)

I love this skatepark it’s waaay better than the old Optimus with the Woodward ramps. However I do have issues. The quarter pipes are really steep I wish they were more Mellow and there is only one flat rail. But considering what the old park was this one is amazing!

Great new cement skate park. Skate, bike and scooter friendly. Big time bowl. Couple ledges, a step up, done stairs and some rails. Could use some parents' benches and some sun shade would be a nice addition.

A little dirty because teenagers are jerks, but overall a great park. Accessible swings/ playground for special needs children! Also, love the new skate park, it looks great!

New park updates are amazing. The playground is wheelchair friendly and the skate park is the best ive been to.

I went to the park with my great grandboys voice. They had a terrific time there.

This park has high quality and unique play ground facilities. Our grand kids had a lot of fun!

One of our favorite local parks. Kids of all ages there having fun. Offers things that you don't see often. Fenced in. Soft ground. Great park.

They are in the process of upgrading the park, stay tuned, it's about to get a whole lot better!!!
A lot of people came together to build a great place for the kids, and it's almost complete, I cannot wait to see the finished project!

I am grateful that this park was reimagined!!! I pray more changes like this occur to nurture the mind body and soul for the children of our nation and all nations! They are our future!
