I love to fish there. They have a boat ramp there for canoes. It has barbeque grills and tables to sit at. It has a tennis court too. You can enter the Black River Golf Club if you have a membership. And there are porta-potties too.

Beautiful place to kayak!! It's a bit hard going against the current. But totally woth the paddling. Bonus you do not have to paddle on way back. That is when you go under bridge.

Docking facility, walking path, tennis courts, fishing areas and cut fields.
There is access to a marina and they drive through too fast. There is a county work area to avoid. A few paths that ORVs use.
Way too many ticks in the spring

fantastic park. lessly developed and bustling with wildlife as riverside floodplain park should be. good fishing & birdwatching. kaleidoscope of wildflowers all season. good boat launch. pick up your trash, stay on established trails you will have no problem with ticks.

any future park features must keep this in mind, both for the wildlife populations that call this place home and the fact this place WILL inevitably flood annually in the early spring, too much development would be a useless & harmful endevour.
