I really like the walking path around the pond. People are really nice and they clean up after their dogs. The ducks and other small animals are pretty cool to watch too. The park is kept pretty clean too.

Very fun Park with cushioned astroturf at the dry playground. Great for ages 2-12, with lots for every age between. The water park is really nice as well, with several unique features, including cannons & dump buckets. Really fun time for all ages.

They have a few open areas for dogs and whatever other activities, plus a 1 mile loop around the lake that has several fishing areas for catch & release.

Great park. I don't have any children but the playground is always occupied, the basketball courts seem enjoyed, and there's a wonderful paved trail around the little lake that is there with plenty of fish to be caught. I frequently see people on bikes, rollerblades, or just walking about enjoying the weather. Lovely local park.

The park has a 1 mile loop around a pond. There is fishing. I went on a fall day and there are lots of wildflowers to enjoy. Beautiful park. There is a splash pad during the summer months. Beautiful peaceful walk. It’s a hidden gem.

Very beautiful park with a nice and scenic walking trail around the water. It also has a playground for kids and a nice little water park area (currently closed for the Autumn/Winter season, I'm thinking). There are bathrooms available but they were closed for the seasons it seems too. Has a lot of parking too. There is a cell tower, (I believe AT&T), that's right beside the bathroom building and some other materials lying there as well that are cautioned off - a bit of an eyesore but I think will look even better once it's all fixed up and cleaned up. It definitely doesn't take away from the beauty of this park though. I would visit again if ever back in that area.

Awesome little community park with a lot to do. Full basketball court, tennis courts, splash pad, playground, fishing, paved trails, bathrooms, and a rentable pavilion with BBQ bits. Very clean and we'll maintained.

Maplewood Park is just as much fun in the winter time! The trail around the lake is plowed so many people are out walking. We've been out ice fishing; catching mostly bluegill and crappies. If you time it right you can break open a hole in the ice drilled by a previous fisherman. Also, keep your eye out for for a community skating rink on the pond!

This is a really fun park and great for the younger kids! Even the toddlers have a pretty easy time getting up on the play equipment. The stairs are enclosed & short enough for them to reach. Another plus for the little ones just learning to walk is that the ground is rubberized instead of having woodchips. This park also has an awesome splash pad that is fenced and enclosed with a gate so the little ones can't run off. There are picnic tables in the splash pad area as well as restrooms right outside of the splash pad area.

Great playground on a small lake. There was a youth group singing at the gazebo when we last visited which provided pretty nice background music. My kids love the playground here, it seems like it's kept up well

Such a great spot! The splash pad is huge - it didn't feel crowded even though there were a ton of kids. Clean bathrooms, fun playground too. The only thing it's missing is a bit of shade around the splash pad.

This place is awesome. Good fishing, trail, playground, and splash pad.
I don't like that they stop you at the entrance now to check if you are a resident.

Very nice playground, basketball courts, volleyball, fishing deck & a pavillion with picnic tables & grills. There is a great fenced-in water park with tables & benches for relaxing or picnics while watching the children. A paved 1-mile path circles Maplewood Lake with mile markers.

Love the splash pad at Maplewood Park! It is fully fenced - which makes it possible to keep all my kids in one area (otherwise I’m chasing a curious one year old, and leaving the other two -three and five year olds-on their own) There are tables scattered around the perimeter of the splash pad, some covered with umbrellas, some not. It’s a nice way to visit with other parents, or just bring a blanket/chair and a book to have a little quiet time while the kids are occupied. The area seems to be kept pretty clean. I have yet to go there and deal with much trash or yuck. People seem to be taking care of it pretty well!

My kids love the play area of the park as well. Visibility of kids while they play is decent. I find that I have to move around a bit to keep tabs on all three. There are some benches scattered about, but limited shade depending on when you go.

There is a great trail for biking/walking around the lake, A dock (for fishing?), a large multi stall that is kept up well, and a large pavilion all right there by the play space. There are tennis and basket ball courts at the park as well.
