7 West TapHouse - Mankato

It was very good. We got there late on Valentine's day. We didn't expected much being a holiday late at night. We were surprised. Wonderful waitress who helped us pick what to get. Good price too for all the food we got.

I went to 7 West with my daughter for her birthday lunch. I enjoyed this place because it felt comfortable and friendly. I didnt feel like we were packed in there like some restaurants. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. We decided to share an appetizer and pizza. The food was excellent. The first pizza we were served was a little burnt, as you can see in my photo, but they replaced the pizza quickly and give us $5 off our order. I will definately be going back to 7 West.

I had to to the #7westomg burger and wow. It was great. You might think that any burger served between two spices of bread is sub part but that is not the case here. This double burger had bacon, cheese curds, and I won't need to eat for a week.

Service is snappy. Food is great. Didn't try the drinks but my friend says the pineapple cider is really good.

Well definitely be back. Wait staff is Friendly and knowledgeable. A++, 10/10, would buy from again.

Give their a la carte menu a try, while sipping on the many beers they have on tap. There is always something new to try at the bar. But, if you don't know what you want, ask Dillon for advice; he is very helpful!

Food was yummy! Staff were friendly. They didn't hover over the table but were always there when we needed something. Nice selection of beer.

We have been wanting to try 7 West ever since it opened. We were very happy we did. They have a wide variety of food on the menu and it was hard to choose. Two people in our group had noodle bowls and they loved them. Two had burgers and were quite satisfied. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with brown sugar bacon. Very tasty. We also had to get a couple of orders of the fresh cut fries. They have quite a few seasoning choices for the fries. I tried the cheese seasoning and it was interesting. I'd like to try others. All in all, great restaurant with a family friendly atmosphere. Our waitress also was very quick to get our drinks refilled and made sure to check on us and the other tables often. Highly recommend that you check 7 West in Mankato if you haven't yet.

Went there in mid June and had their black and bleu burger and sampled a few of their beers. The burger was nice, but I honestly prefer the crumbled bleu cheese as opposed to the one out of a bottle. The service was amazing and a huge thank you to Kyle for helping me charge my phone. If I'm ever in Mankato again, I'll definitely will eat here again.

My husband and I came here for the first time last night and it was great. Josh, our server, was great too. Good food and drinks for a fair price. Will go again!

My boyfriend and I are underage so we cannot attest to the beer selection but we are total fans of the food!! This is one of the few places we can go for date night and split 3 dishes for $20 or so. The value and service are awesome like always.

My only suggestion would be to hire a busser and a hostess. We went on a Friday night and the few servers on were absolutely busting cheeks trying to seat, clean tables, and serve all of the customers. Because of this, we waited maybe 10 minutes before we were greeted. I worked as a hostess in a restaurant, and I know how stressful it probably is for your staff without one. Regardless, service was great and our waitress was super polite. We will be back

Currently the best burger place in Mankato. Awesome burgers for good prices and my favorite tap selection in town as well. It has a kind of odd location one block off of Madison so it’s often quiet, which is a shame for them but awesome for locals who know where to go in town for pub food.

Great service! Great food! Tried the green olive cream cheese burger and jalapeño popper chicken sandwich - yum, but the apps were what did it for us! Try the pretzel bites and beer cheese wontons! Happy hour was a happy accident:) Our first time. We will be back!

One of my favorite places to get a beer. Really friendly and attentive staff, they know me by name and will have good conversation. Quick to get food, food is always really good and has not disappointed - they have a large variety to choose from. Wide selection of beers/alcohol, always something new to try. I can't recommend this place enough!

The food was fantastic! The place was busy. There were only 4 guys working and the service was still fantastic. We had drinks right away and our food followed a short time after. In these days of sub standard and low quality staffing these guys were truly outstanding!

I barely knew which direction was which after eating/trying all this 😂Luckily, the restaurant showed me the way, and clearly they’ve found the location where food is the best — West! 🧭

My friend ordered the burger and had high praise for his patty-stacked selection 👏 I’ll say from seeing it, the #7WESTOMG looked absolutely incredible 👀

The Poppers truly popped off 💥 A lil’ bit of savory and spicy along with the cheese and bussin’ bacon brought tears to my eyes… okay maybe not, but these were awesome! 😁

I had the Lobster Roll and was pleasantly surprised. Though some may think a tap house couldn’t set the bar for seafood, their presentation of this crustacean was impressive 💯 Fresh, flavorful, and of course served on classic-lobster-roll-style bread, this is an order for those who pine to find a bit of seaside delight in southern Minnesota 🌊

The Tot Bowl was not of the highest quality — too many tomatoes tipped the texture of this dish to be a little too soft for me:/ I’ll say the ingredients were there, and there’s potential for it to pack a punch, but veering away from too many vegetables would made a difference for this appetizer avalanche ⛰

The cheese curds, onion rings, and tenders were all terrific takes on classic starters. Make sure to try some of their signature sauces 🔥🔥🔥

Honestly, everything we had is worth a try! I recommend grabbing a few friends, heading over for Happy Hour, and loading on the apps for an evening of laughter and awesome food :)

This was our first visit here. We were a little surprised that it was "seat yourself" but we only had to wait a few minutes before a table opened up. The dining space is nice and open so it was easy to see where empty tables were. I had the broccoli and beef with a glass of moscato. The food was delicious. Just the right amount of teriyaki and the beef was very tender. The wine was awesome too ;). My husband had a cheeseburger. He let me have a bite- that was really good too. The battered fries and cheese curds were also good. Some of the food was served on a metal try that was bigger than the food on it, making it seem like the tray was slightly empty and maybe more fries could have been put on it. The atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. The service was prompt, friendly, and very helpful. Our waitress checked in on us several times and refreshed the drinks often.

Recently went to 7West unsure of what to expect because of mixed reviews from friends. I was pleasantly surprised to find amazing and friendly service from the whole staff. I was upset about the burger not coming with fries but i quickly changed my mind when the food came out and was delicious! Would highly recommend 7West to people of all ages but being over 21 was great to enjoy a flight (or 3). I’m not sure who will read this but there was a guy behind the bar named Logan and he was awesome!

We went mid-afternoon so were able to be seated immediately. Our waitress was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. I had a glass of wine and thought the price and serving size was very good. Great variety of beers ranging in price from $5-$7.50 and 10 oz to 16 oz. We had the cauliflower buffalo wings and they were really delicious!

Tiffany was our server again and she was wonderful, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Awesome selection of beers and a pretty good selection of whiskeys and bourbons. Excellent food, I reccomend the beef fry bread taco salad. Deserts are lacking but overall a great experience.

I’m always amazed this place isn’t busier. Very affordable food and the best burgers in town. Tater tots are excellent as well. Tap house burger is incredible. Great selection on tap.

The space is very welcoming, with high ceilings and tons of windows. Huge beer selection, from the same domestic taps you see everywhere to local brews and quite a bit in between; there should be a beer here for everyone. Staff was really friendly. Food arrived really quickly and it was quite good. Will be coming again!
