Oscar's Frozen Custard

One of the few places to still sell a mushroom & Swiss burger, and it’s fantastic! They have both a quarter and half pound version. Also: their patty melt is amazing!

This is my favorite Oscars! The service is faster, the burgers are better and the custard is richer. Best of all they always automatically give me my custard to enjoy while I wait for my burger. Life's short after all so eat dessert first. The waffle cones are made fresh on site and they're delicious (also huge).

We went to Oscar's for my daughter's birthday. We had 10 of her friends and their families. Luckily for us they weren't too busy so we had seating for everyone. We went up to order our food and Michael asked if we were having a birthday party, then continued to offer us drinks for the party and hats. When we sang happy birthday Michael gave our party ice cream and the birthday girl got a special sunday. Although there was a small mishap with the food, the over all service and accommodations were wonderful . THANK YOU to the wonderful staff for the wonderful experience.

Fantastic and engaging service. Burger was great, and their fries are my favorite. But let's be honest...I was there for the custard! Chocolate covered cherries in amaretto custard, oh MY!!

Super accommodating staff! In the past I've gotten their mushroom swiss burgers, which has a beefy mushroom gravy on top. They were happy to follow my unusual order, making mushroom swiss fries with that mushroom gravy over their delicious fresh fries instead of their chili and heese.

This is definitely becoming my new favorite order now

A great place to take your family. Excellent service, decent prices. They have both custard and food on their menu. This has become a staple in my week. It's a great place to take my son and enjoy the atmosphere and catch up on our week.

Went in to get a late lunch. Khiya was very helpful with us ordering and helped us promptly. Daniel made sure that the cook knew we needed absolutely no cheese one husbands burger due to allergy and had them change gloves. This was the best service I had in a long time! Good job team!

I loved the food. The burger was great, the kids loved their chicken strips. The fries were good but come in small portions. I also appreciated the immaculate condition of the bathroom when my kids needed to go!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Great custard and food at a reasonable price. Yes there are other good custard stands like Gillis and Kopps and Culvers and Leons in Milwaukee, but non have the reasonable prices of Oscars. If you don't like the flavor of the day, or want chocolate or vanilla, you can always ask for "Oscar's Delight" which is compiled by hand at time of order: pecans, walnuts and chocolate pieces in vanilla custard - see photo. They always give a very large one scoop portion (really the size of two) and its just $2.49. (Have you seen Culver's one scoop lately? Its down to a few tablespoons LOL) Oscar's burgers are charbrioled and fries crisp and thin. They even have decent cheese curds. Oscars is our "go to" for burgers and custard in Milwaukee. We like West Allis better than Waukesha - charming cozy atmosphere, cool brick.

This place is an excellent local spot for burgers, fries, shakes, and fries curds. But what they are known for is their creamy and light frozen custard. That stuff is dangerously good!

Oscars is always good food and good service. Their Bager Claw is honestly the best custard we've ever had.

Food was amazing but workers (kids) sitting in a corner on there phones . Ask one of the girls (blonde hair ) for ranch she walks off grab the ranch and gets distracted and continues to go on her phone . Gotta get on employees for that . Not so good of service when you got customers waiting for a ranch for over 2 min when it was in there hand and get distracted by a phone and calling people

Love it here food is good and custard obviously, just wish it was bigger its always crowded but so nice to sit outside in summer

Everything you want in a Wisconsin hamburger restaurant. Custard is amazing. The chocolate malt has been perfected in this establishment.

I had a burger and fries with a peanut butter cup shake. Was really good food for the price. I've definitely spent more for worse and it comforts me to see good food that's still affordable. Only negative I can say is that the shake had to be drank from a lidless cup as the chunks continuously got got in the 2 straws I tried. Even with that I'd definitely go again, I'll just skip bothering with the straw. Was pleasantly surprised all round.

Awesome Food! Kept driving by and finally stopped in. Good sandwhichs, custard and sides. Great price. $8.00 got me a patty melt burger, cheese fry and a medium soda. Clean interior. Quick service. Definitely coming back!

My absolute favorite frozen custard. The best vanilla in my opinion and the best peanut butter flavored custard. I think some other places have a bigger variety in their daily flavors but I think Oscars has the best quality flavors.
They do also have good food and the location on 27th is perfect for taking the kids.
