The staff are awesome. Greeted us and informative and helpful and make the experience fun. My kids had a lot of questions about games and pricing and they were the most helpful.

The staff were cleaning and organizing all the shelves and working very hard at their jobs and you could tell they really liked what they did.

We will be back soon.

Should give it 0 stars but I went in with the plan to spend some money and they did their jobs helping me do so. :) bought the new Xbox Series X, cod modern warfare 2, headset and 2nd controller. Plus some protection plans. Yeah I got what I got and I have to thank the guy, he was awesome as can be. Knowledgeable and smart. He'd been up all night launching the new COD and still kicking but at 2pm selling me 800 bucks worth of goodies. Top notch employee in my book. Thanks brother. Game on!

Highlight of the week. New game and some neat Zelda desk buddies. Clerk knew his stuff and was easy to talk to.

I had an excellent experience at GameStop. The store was well marked, easy to get to with ample parking. It was a pleasant atmosphere with nicely organized and tidy stock. I had goods to sell and the young man helping me was very knowledgeable and friendly. He chatted with me as he put my things into separate piles and there were only a few small things he could not take. I felt the prices I received were fair and reasonable and I left at the conclusion of a very satisfying business transaction. Highly recommended. 😊

The store clerk on duty helped me with a return from an online order. He was very helpful and very knowledgeable. He took great care of me. And I'm guessing he'll do the same for you. Thanks for the help Mike

i make the drive from sartell to come to this location. employees are very friendly and helpful. store is big and wode variety of not just games but clothes, funko pops random figurines and collectibles and other goodies. my favorite location in the state.

Came in with a concern from a online order expecting to get told that they couldn't help, guy was working alone and still found time to exchange my game, get me resigned up for rewards and get a copy of Spiderman ultimate ordered to ship to my house. I specifically love this store

I would not go to any other gamestop, friendly and helpful staff, chill atmosphere, and the gm is a great guy. I've spent thirty minutes at s time just talking to him. Say hi to Mike next time you go.

I'm commenting because I was about to call this GameStop and noticed the terrible reviews. I read them and was astounded. And then immediately annoyed. I'm trying to now even it out ( the rating) because the store has a 2.5 rating because impatient children can't wait their turn. You don't rate someplace 1 star because you had to wait in line longer than you wanted. That isn't how rating works. It screws up the system.
I have always had a great experience whenever I go to Monticello GameStop. They are helpful, polite and courteous. They are always more than willing to take the time to explain how kids games like skylanders, Disney infinity and Lego dimensions work. This saves me a massive amount of time and their knowledge has always been spot on. I've never had a question that they couldn't answer. And before someone says, "oh this is some old parent that doesn't get video games! Wrong!" I am 32 and I play video games myself.
Be happy that we have a GameStop in a town of 12,000 people. If we didn't you would have to drive 20 miles to maple grove or st cloud. That's why it's busy a lot of the time. There is one store for the whole town, so anyone that games goes here. Learn patience and humility. The people that work at GameStop aren't making a whole lot of money. How would you like having to help some highschool kid or someone that is in their early 20s nerd raging because they are out of copies of fallout 4? Or because the "LINE TOOK 40 MINUTES!" And they have to be nice to you because if they aren't they lose their job. That's good service, because the kind of service the two crybabies that gave 1 star reviews diserve is a punch in the face.
Rant complete! Thanks GameStop workers for being cool and not condescending to people that don't know everything about video games because they have real responsibilities and wives and children. 5 Stars *****!

Go there Everytime I need to buy a game or something. Manager is chill as hell. Bought a controller there then bummed a smoke off him and we just talked about games and stuff for 20 minutes. Great place all around.

Omg. Love these guys at the store. I have been looking for mega man 11 amiibo and they found it for me and having it ship to there store. Awesome job guys. Thank you very much for helping me. My son will be so happy.

I have a Pro Members card to GameStop so I always bring my games in there and put my credits toward newer games, which gains points as well as giving a discount on used games. There's a huge selection of games and consoles to choose from. And other collectibles too.

Absolutely awesome service! Have never had a bad experience. Anytime I have a technical difficulty or question or concern, I call one time and get the answer right away!

Customer service is amazing. I do not understand why there are reviews on here of people bashing the customer service. I have never had any issues.
