The Home Depot

11/09/2021. Just purchased an unfinished wood screen door.
Had tremendous help from a young associate. Did not get his name, but if he reads this he will remember me. He carried that door through checkout and placed into the back of my Jeep Cherokee, way out in the parking lot. What a nice guy. I also purchased hardware for the installation. Now a little sanding and painting I should be good to go.
I usually have good luck at Home Depot.

Very nice employees, young, shorter guy with a beard is extremely nice to employees and his customers! Makes a lot of his employees laugh and makes it seem like a great place to work

Just at the height of the Christmas season. The store was crowded but well stocked. Everyone I encountered was friendly and patient.

Amazing Location. I got such great help from one of the associates that I literally called into the store to speak to the general manager to ask that this gentleman receive a raise. he went over with me about his personal story of plumbing. He explained to me all the options I had, explained to me the cost of each different option, he even gave me some tips and tricks that your average employee would never have known and he helped me solve a huge plumbing issue I was having at my home. I cannot recommend this location enough. I've been there multiple times to do large home improvement projects and every time they have the experience and the knowledge to guide you through the purchase and explain to you all the different products and your options available to use them. Could not recommend this store more. 💪 😎

Employees here are always super friendly, they almost knew us by name by the end of our remodel!

Home Depot has really stepped up their game in the convenience department. All though it does appear there are fewer employees. It’s actually easier to navigate the store with their app than have an employee who doesn’t know or may not care to know where anything is and lead you around looking for another employee to find your product. And in my opinion check-out has become a breeze. I love the email receipt option which makes it very convenient for returns. Lowes will never have a step up on The Depot

I went to 3 other places to buy appliances and Home Depot was the only place that had employees that were helpful and seemed happy to go over the differences in the things I wanted to buy. They also were great at pointing out sales and discounts available to me. I bought everything from them. The only thing I would like to see is that Home Depot needs to take better care of their employees and give them some perks. I was told that there was no employee discount! Shame on you Home Depot. You have some great people there!

Karina was an absolute delight to work with! We had a complicated return and she didn’t even break a sweat! She was kind, professional and we were thankful for her assistance on a busy Friday!

This is one of my favorite stores to go to in Monticello. I'm new to home DIY and I'm hooked on it. I go to this location probably 3-5 times a week. Most of the time, just to look. The people that work here are so friendly and kind. I've had such great interactions with some of the employees. Steve in the paint department really is one of the best people. He always has a great attitude and greets me by name every time I see him. I have many other stories I could share. I love this Home Depot and I always look forward to going back.

If you have been to one Home Depot, you have been to them all. Depending on which part of the state I am in, I visit one of three different locations and like them all. Hiring helpful friendly staff must be corporate policy, because I am always greeted with a smile and "can I help you find something?" One Monday morning this happened to me 4-5 times before I even got halfway through the store to the electrical stuff.

I love this place, especially Taylor! She's the best!

I bought a quart of paint to do some touch up painting. It was way off so I brought it back. The gentleman suggested I pick out a paint swatch that is the closest to the original paint I had. It matched perfect and I'm so glad I don't have to repaint the entire bathroom!

We saw an online Ryobi mower string trimmer combo. The young man in mowers tried to get the deal products but was unable so he took us to Sue in customer service discovered it was online only. She made us aware of $50.00 discount to open credit. She gave us superb customer service

When I come to the store it's always nice to see smiles

Walked in on Black Friday was offered honey bun and hot coco, realized left wallet at home, walking out empty handed employee at door said grab a coco and pastry and a happy holidays. That right there gave me goose bumps, top notch to them!

Everyone at this Home Depot is SO NICE! They remember me when I come in and I feel right at home! Big bonus: you can bring your dog!

This location always has a clean store, nice products and very helpful employees. I would like to recognize Dylan and Aaron from the Building materials department. I needed some wood cut on two separate occasions this past weekend. Both team members were very enthusiastic and both helped me quickly. I appreciate honest, caring employees like these. Hats off to them! Thank you!

I love our local Home Depot! Every staff member I have interacted with has been phenomenally helpful and so nice. I never dread having to ask for help finding something, or even for advice on products. I feel very fortunate to have this store the closest to home.

The Monticello Home Depot if FANTASTIC! Then employees there are friendly and attentive. My husband and I were in the market for some new appliances. We were very impressed with Joel in Appliance. He helped us look for the max discounts we qualified for. (He saved us over $140 that was not available online!) In addition, he gave us great tips and thoroughly made sure we understood our rights as customers.
I highly recommend this Home Depot and I recommend that you actually go inside the store to make purchases because there are going to be things that will be missed if you do everything online.
