Excellent service and really enjoyed this setting and the views. Had the Flatbread pizza app and the veggie chili. Excellent. Nice oatmeal stout too. Parking lot is busy and gets crowded. We'll go back when in that area!

They have organic ketchup and Dijon mustard on EACH table. Also our server was very sweet. Thank you Katie!

Easy on-off lunch spot returning from VT to Boston. Super fast food with portions easily split. Tasty grilled chicken and stringy cheese French onion soup. The food is better than the beer, but the beer is not bad. Fun kitchy decorations

Very nice atmosphere and restaurant, fun place to have dinner on the pub side. The dining room is very spacious without people breathing down your neck. Very clean, friendly, huge menu with daily specials, the food is excellent, the food is not salty at all! Bravo for that! The sirloin steak was a special beef almost like a kobe beef, very very delicious! And the chocolate cake was the best I've ever eaten in my 59 years of eating cake! I can't wait to go back, what a surprise for just driving thru town , saw lots of cars and decided to check it out! Also they have all those funny craft beers people seem to like today.. I hope you check it out!

Best food in New London. Always reliable and has never disappointed. Food quality and portion size for the price is fantastic and consistent. Large food menu and even larger beverage menu. Staff are always welcoming and knowledgeable, offer great suggestions. The environment is cozy and clean. This time, we shared the Chef's Flatbread, Fried Pickles, and Chicken Tenders. My go-to here is the Reuben with Sweet Potato fries, but everything has been delicious.

Food was great, beer was great, room was a good volume even though it was busy, and the server was fast and quick-witted when we joked with her a little.
I've been coming to the Goose for years, and it's never let me down.

Oh, and... The chicken tenders are INCREDIBLE.

Always enjoy our visits here.
The Mills family has certainly created a culture in which the staff always go above and beyond!
Isaac was exceptional and Kristen always makes the best drinks, with a wonderful smile!
The food is always amazing with generous portions.
And I absolutely love their house brewed beers!

Food quality and options are WAY better than you’d expect from a “brew pub”. This is delicious. We have a party of 20 here and EVERYONE is enjoying their meal. Menu is reasonably priced and they have vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options, and it’s all outlined beautifully on the menu. MAJOR perk if you’re like me and follow food restrictions in any way.

The bar side, the restaurant side and the outside seating have great views of the mountains. The food was very good as well as the beer. The staff was friendly and attentive. Plenty of food to choose from and a full bar. A++

Classic pub, casual, with great food, seasonal menu, great variety of beer. Everything we've ordered has been great... multiple times. Dining room and bar room=bar seating and some tables. Mountain and backyard view. Women's bathroom with 2 stalls. Men's bathroom. Definitely will be returning.

Literally some of the best beer I have ever had in my life. Food is really good, wish there were a couple more options.

Awesome dining experience!!! 🍺🍺🍺🍺We recently visited on a Saturday night. They were able to seat our party of five in a reasonable amount of time despite being rather busy. The atmosphere was cool, comfy, and relaxed. Katie did a great job at keeping our table full of fresh beer and perfectly prepared apps, entrees, and desserts. It was our first time there and we definitely will be back. Without a doubt, one of the best meals I've ever had. I would recommend making a reservation as this is a popular spot. Don't keep driving past it like we did. Stop in and enjoy the experience for yourself. Highly recommended!!! Thanks again to Katie and the entire staff !!!

Great stop after a hike up Kearsarge. Reuben and string onion rings were fantastic with an oatmeal stout. Siriacha Chicken with a rags to riches IPA was also a terrific pairing. Great views and atmosphere. We will return.

This restaurant sits on the famous Crockett's Corner. Across the street stands the Crockett's Dairy Farm, built in the late 1700's. This is where the crockets ice cream for the farm's cows and the production of ice cream was served across the street. This is now "The Flying Goose". it was then named 'The Gray House until from memory (It's off) it changed hands and names in the early 1990's. David Richard Crockett died on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Seal Rock Health Care Facility in Saco, Me.

The specialty of the Goose I believe is New England comfort food and a wide variety of micro breweries on tap, one of their own made on site. I was please when the Chief, Matt, was on a break and made rounds, making sure people were enjoying their meals. it's not often a Chief takes time, in this case their break, in making sure their customers are satisfied. They had better hold onto a Chief like that as I understood from out conversation he was not an owner. They might consider giving him a few shares in the company as he certainly treated it like it was his own. Don't Don't lose him, people like that are hard to find.

My Pot Roast was done perfectly. It was delicious. The atmosphere is a bit dark, but there is also a warm feeling from the those around you. The wait staff did a good job! You will get what you pay for, but as the other New London restaurants, they are pricey.

I admire the green thumb that is obvious upon driving up. They run a large portion of their operation using renewable energy, through the array of solar panels and battery systems and delivery that's all involved. They also have an elevator where they store fuel pellets that are manufactured from sawdust, that otherwise would go to the landfill. That they are environmentally friendly, and provide a excellent overview of how it all works, makes the front section, where you wait for a table if necessary, almost like being at a museum.

I photographed their weathervane, absolutely gorgeous against the cold blue sky. The view from the window seats are breathtaking, with a view of Mt. Kearsarge in the distance. In the evening, seeing the moon come up over the mountain while dining with your someone special makes it a magical evening.

The only thing that might disappoint is their menu is eclectic and for some, it may not agree with them, so look at it before you sit down. If it's a pizza you want, then "Pizza Chief" is up on main street.

Great food, beer, service and atmosphere. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking. Indoor or outdoor seating as well as a covered patio. We were also able to get a 4 pack to go, they sell growlers as well. Amazing sweet potato fries!
