This is a hidden gem as far as New Hampshire State Parks go. Un-crowded, quiet, and peacful.

Wow. A must stop. We were traveling thru from Vermont to Boston and stopped at this Park for lunch and where very happy we did. Very close to the exit and great facilities. We were able to eat lunch right by the water and enjoy the beautiful view.
I recommend this Park.

Nice shaded spots to get in the water. A clean park. It's nice to be able to take a walk around the lake and enjoy the scenery.

The man working at the guard station was very nice and polite. Great place for whole family. They have grill and picnic tables to use. Just bring charcoal and food.

Gorgeous lake view. Easy dirt parking lot. Entrance fee. Not too crowded. Picnic tables, playground, bathrooms and changing rooms. Carry in/carry out all food and trash.
Beach is narrow and is shady until afternoon when sun hits from the left. Water is wonderful and great for swimming but bring water shoes... bottom is rocky and mucky.

It was great to have clean bathrooms and changing rooms. Granted it was a week day, but it wasn't crowded at all. We were there to paddle board so cannot comment on how clean & clam free the bottom is. It was fun to explore a new to us lake.

WEAR WATER SHOES!! There is an abundance of fresh-water muscles, which won't bother you, but you can get good sized cuts on your feet from their sharp edges if you're not careful.

Beautiful and clean park. The water was very warm, almost like bath water (can be good or bad depending on your preferences).

This is a favorite place especially during the week when it is quiet and beautiful. They are facilities - restrooms and play areas. Thec beach and lake are very popular weekends with folks who come from Concord and elsewhere. It is administered locally by the historic town of Sutton.

Easy to find, plenty of places to lay out and catch some sun on the beach! The water was shallow enough for you to enjoy and just the right temp. Parking is easy as well.

Excellent place to bring your family and barbeque, swim, canoe, kayak and even hike. Has picnic tables, a playground, public restrooms and shade areas if you don't want to sit in the sun. Highly recommend. We return again and again..

Quiet hidden gem. Bit pebbly, but quiet with good water.

My favorite place to swim. Perfect for families with young kids and older kids. I would not recommend for elderly or those with walking difficulty as there is some uneven terrain and tree roots that stick up.

A hidden gem with trails that are little used. Parking is easy. There are wonderful running streams in the spring.

My go to spot on a hot day. Sit in the shade next to the water and relax. I wanted to give it one star so it would stay quiet but am too honest.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, clean spot. Water shoes highly recommended! Some sharp stones and mussels.
