Koto Hibachi Asian Bistro & Bar

I'm happy I gave this place a try. I would always pass by and say I should stop in and check out their menu. The food was fresh and very filling. The broth on the mushroom soup was quite tasty. My daughter said the short ribs and dumplings were very good! Service was prompt . Overall great experience. I'll be back for sure!

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly from the moment we entered and the restaurant was very clean. We were told it would be about a 15 to 20 minute wait for hibachi. We sat at the bar, got our drinks and were seated within 10 minutes. Waiter was very efficient and chef was friendly and entertaining. The food was delicious. The hibachi ribeye was cooked to perfection. Definitely get the fried rice. The only thing was the noodles were spaghetti... it was still very good but not udon noodles. They also have a very large sushi menu and will definitely be back to try that as well.

One of the finest hibachi places in Central NJ. Tried quite a few around the area but this one is truly a gem. First of all the place is super clean and well maintained. The staff is well mannered and greets the guests very nicely. We had to wait a bit for our hibachi chef to arrive but once he came , it was all worth the wait. He was skillful at his tricks and also a good cook. We ordered steak , filet mignon, red snapper, chicken in hibachi combination. The meat and sea food was super fresh.

Went there for dinner with 2 kids. Service fast good and fast. Food was good not too heavy not too salty just right. Reasonably priced as well. The hibachi chef did a very good job and entertained the kids. Will come back again.

The food here was really good. I liked it when they cooked in front of us. And because I have a seafood allergy. They cooked in the kitchen. So I wouldn't get an allergic reaction.

Very please with chef Michael, he did a spectacular cooking session, we lough, drink Sake, delicious food.

I have been to Koto many times, and each time is always a new experience. The Hibachi is top notch. It is a great show with lots of flavor and, depending on your party, lots of laughs. They do make you wait until the table is full and will sit you next to new people before assigning you a chef but I don't think that's a problem. The food is always cooked exactly like you want, I have never had bad food here. The drinks were are well balanced as they do have a large bar. The servers are attentive and make the experience go very smooth. If you're in the area, check it out.

This was an absolute pleasure to be in! It's very lively and exactly what you expect from a hibachi. The chiefs are very skilled and entertaining. It's great for a party and has a good price range. I would highly recommend if you are a fan of Hibachi or if you are looking for a great night out.

If you looking for fresh and specialty’s, don’t miss this restaurant. The waiter/waitress work professional, nice, smiling and will recommend their specialty. As though they know what you looking to taste. Can’t wait to make another trip to the North again to have a dinner there.

I have never been to a Hibachi Place......this was thee best experience that I never knew I needed!!! The service was beyond perfect..the food OMG 😋 too much to tell you really have to come here but even if it isn't your birthday (which for me it is :) get the fired ice cream..... seriously you will be wanting more.....all the food and desserts was just spot on besides the service which was top notch....I can ONLY say amazing compliments about this Hibachi restaurant ❤ just go!!! You will not regret I PROMISE

I love this spot! They prepare good meals, their menu is decent. The cook in that place is very experienced, all the dishes looks so delicious. This is my first time here seating outdoor eating. The attitude towards the clients is efficient. I was beyond satisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation. Will be back to bring more friends here to eat.

A fun place to eat. The food is excellent and the service is also. All of the staff members were very attentive and friendly, and the hibachi experience is great.

One of my favorite places to go for hibachi. They give a fun show and great proportions of food. Always delicious! Recommend going here for a birthday and telling them to get the special treat/show!

I went here for my birthday party and had a great time with my friends and family. They accommodated my party with the private dinning room and a all the servers sang happy birthday to me. The hibachi chef I had was very cheerful and really put on a show. All in all I can’t wait to go back!

I got the flame mignon with shrimp the filet mignon was absolutely amazing and so was the shrimp. Chief was nice but never got refills throughout the dinner.

This place was amazing 5+stars!! I made a reservation to celebrate my husband graduation and everything was clean and ready when we arrived. The chef was so skilled and cheerful, delicious food, nice drinks.. even the kids had a great time! We’ll be back soon and I highly recommend this place.

The service was great and we got a lot of food which was flavorful and for a great price. Great place and the chef was entertaining. Definitely planning on going back.

Food and the artistry from the chef was excellent. Place was staffed well. Took good care of us and not crowded at all. Will definitely visit some time again in the future

I love here. Benihana is overrated! This is the place to go. Great food and service. I have no complaints.
