AbleLight Thrift Shop

A very good thrift shop. Prices are good (though you will find one or two to raise an eyebrow at). It's fairly clean and tidy. I appreciate that they display their artwork in a way that doesn't damage it and makes it fairly easy to browse through. It shows that they put some thought into how they display things. Except...

Except the shoes. They are arranged by *color*. They have been for years. It looks lovely, but does not make sense. If I'm looking for a size 9 shoe, I'd have to look at LITERALLY EVERY SHOE that looks like it could be a 9, and it is *not* easy to guess what size a shoe is by looking at it. I'd have to pick it up, look at the bottom, or the inside of the tongue or the insole, or the inner heel, and hopefully find it. Please, please, please just arrange them by size. Then we can just look at the racks of shoes that are actually possibilities, and it's super easy for us to find the color we want, if we're looking for a certain color.

Great place to find fun things, and knowing that my money is going to a good cause makes it all that more worth it to stop in.

Great prices and a large selection! Tons of fabric in a separate area from sheets. Will become a regular haunt for sure!

This is one of my absolute favorite thrift shops! It is very well organized, clothing are arranged by size, and color coordinated. Isles are roomy enough to push your shopping cart without bumping into items or other customers. It is not overly packed with just stuff. Everything has a place and all items are reasonably priced in my opinion. They even have a furniture section with new and used items. Love it!

Had a great time in the store and when my items didn't have a tag they just charged me again for my lowest priced item. I lived the care and joy that the workers had for their space.

This is a great place to donate household items for us because we can drive up, drop off and go. They'll even help us unload. Everyone we've talked to is super nice also!

The cashier that helped me was incredibly nice and went out of her way to help me. She had great social skills and answered my questions clearly without mumbling. Her fashion sense fit in with the theme and vibe of the place. ( she had fabulous nails...)

Wonderful, as always! My favorite place to thrift ... clean, well-organized, no claustrophobic feeling like some other thrift stores. Love the half-price tags and Wednesday Senior/Veteran's discount!

I had been looking for a hard plastic covered folder to carry important papers in and.went to the brand name office supplies stores in the Appleton area and they didn't have anything that wanted and what they had was very pricey for what it was!! So I stopped at Bethesda Thrift Store.. and Yes that had not just one, but two of them and they were both under $2.00! I thanked them and gave them a generous cash donation.
It is a very well lit store which is professionally run and the service is second to none!

I honestly don't know why I didn't stop here sooner. This place is more than your average thrift store. Super friendly folks working today. Found out that the woman who helped me and I have a mutual interest in glass pitchers, oddly enough. The store was clean and organized. Plus they run certain tag colors for up to 90% off, could have come home with a full set of china for $6, don't know what I would have done with it though so it stayed on the shelf for some other lucky bargain hunter. Seriously though, check this place out.

Lovely store, great jewelry. Everyone's so nice and kind. Prices are great. They do have nice collectables and the prices are way below flea market, antique stores etc. Beautiful pieces. Changing constantly and just a joy! Cheers for the thrift store!

Bit pricey for a thrift shop but still cheaper than buying the stuff new. Very clean and pretty well organized. Lots of stuff. If you like thrifting you should definitely stop in
