Guardian Park

I love this place. I've been coming here for years. Nice breeze even in the hottest days. Plenty of space in the picnic area so you get some decent bbq space even when crowded, Favorite place for my kids to run n play soccer, and recently to snapshot. Restrooms are available, needs more attention though. Playground far from bbq area.

This is a very beautiful place to go out with the family and enjoy the outdoors. Barbecue hiking and riding your bike is some of the activities you can do outside and while you’re at it learn about the towels history. I would give this place a 9 out of 10 just because they have public restroom available..

2. Vacant beach space to sit play and have fun with friends and family.
3. Beautiful scenic views.
4. Sandy beach
5. Cleanliness and no insects.

Nice and beautiful weather here. Bay side of the beach is at low tide, pretty historic houses.

Great place to feel the breeze. Take a nice walk through the old barracks. Sit on the rocks by the bay and relax.

Nice park along the Atlantic Seaboard. Walking , Cycling, and lazing on the beach. USD 15 entrance fee.

Great place to visit, especially after the summer is over. You can use their grills. Bring food but no alcoholic beverages. Lots of room to sit if you bring your own chairs see TV

Lots of history here. The bunker tour is interesting!!! The views are spectacular!

Awesome place to ride your bike, 12 + miles

nice walk! I walked there for seeing 5K run in Sandy Hook.

Some historic concrete bunkers, lighthouse, old missile outside exhibits!
Has paved trail runs separate from road good for safety of young riders, only a few low volume intersections along trail with roads!

One of my favorite places ever: the beauty, the solitude, the history, it's all there. If I could live there I would, I never get tired of it. Try to visit the History House and the Lighthouse, you won't be sorry!

The place is full of history and open spaces. Lots of roads to bike ride and a paved path to waj or ride. Many buildings are in disrepair but some have been rehabilitated. Bike rentals and a snack shop have popped up. It's a fun place to visit - I recommend it.

What a beautiful hidden treasure. So peaceful not crowded at all. Will be spending more time there!!!

Nice secluded beach and fishing area

This part of shandy hook park is really beautiful the guardian park is an excellent picnic outing spot with excellent views and access to the bay side. Very popular with families
