Step back in time family owned pizzeria with great tasting pizza. Straightforward menu choices with different size pies available (or by the slice), large portions, nostalgic old school order counter with stools and postings on the wall. Fast friendly service, very reasonable prices and plenty of tables/seating. Cash only payments. Meter street parking. Not handicap accessible as there is a step up at the entrance.

Old school pizza place. Big fan of their style of classic pizza. Very tasty. Crispy but not dry, baked to perfection. Price is reasonable. Love the counter and old signs. Bonus arcade next door.

Ordered two fresh personal pizzas (one cheese and one Rome Special). Not only were they huge portion sizes (felt like each were medium sized pizzas) Rome Pizza also does not skimp on toppings. Great tasting and a wonderful stop! Definitely a must try.

I order a small (like a medium) plain and white pizza this time! The pizza still as good as I remembered it back 25+yrs ago (totally dating myself). Yummm-Thin and crispy to perfection! Just FYI it’s CASH ONLY! Def be back again soon…

I have been looking for a pizzeria that gets it right in my area for a while. After reading all the positive reviews I decided to try this place out. The pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms) was excellent! Definitely plan to go back again.

Wow! Undercarriage was perfect, sauce had a great taste, the cheese bread was great! I moved a few months ago to this area from very north jersey and I have not found good pizza like up there yet. That was till today when I found Rome Pizza. They are my new pizza spot down here. Small simple menu with a great taste. I’ll be back for more!

the owners son john confalone said he would bring me pizza at school and never did. very disappointed.

Wow. What a great place, I don't even know where to begin. If you have a craving for pizza and are nearby, this is the place. Authentic Italian pizza, the owner is very nice, pizza comes out in a really short time, and prices are pretty low for pizza. Only thing to note is they only deliver on weekends until 4 pm I believe. Other than that, I haven't had a better pizza yet.

Not sure why I waited this long to try this place, but I'm glad we finally did and we will definitely be back!
Had a large cheese pizza, delicious. The sauce is clearly home made, and the crust is perfect, not too thick or thin, not undercooked or to hard. Awesome pizza.
Now the winner is the calzone. I figured it would be a regular calzone but this thing was so huge, and just oozing with a creamy ricotta filling. I didn't know what to get exactly so the guy who took my order suggested pepperoni and boy it was just delicious.

Hearing the lady speak Italian to one of the customers was a nice little touch to what feels like a homey, traditional pizza place. Prices can't be beat. See you soon!

When a pizza place stays in business through multiple generations of one family you have to know that the pizza speaks for itself. There is pizza joints just about everywhere but how many do you actually know that just sell amazing pizza.

50+ years and this small town staple is still going strong. I've literally been supporting this local family owned business for 30 years.

As a matter of fact I can't think of any other pizza shop in my local area that's been in business for 50 years.

Not once in 30 years has John and his family ever disappointed me. I used to eat there when I was just a kid in grade school and they still allowed the kids to leave school at lunch time.

Ordered 8 pies and 18 garlic rolls for my daughters 2nd birthday.. every single person was very happy with the pizza asking me where it was and such and I have to give a great review pizza and garlic knots were all cooked perfect it was still hot hot when it got to the house and honestly you cannot beat the prices at all thank you so much to the owners for doing such an amazing job and the place inside was very clean and brought me back in time have a board from the early 1900’s of prices back then cool to see! Thank you again

Great pizza is hard to find a good spot this one got it. My only thing is wish they suitor m would make pasta dishes

This is one of those hard-to-find old-school pizzeria.
The sauce is sweet and delicious and the dough perfectly put together.
