GK's Red Dog Tavern

We enjoyed a great meal at this restaurant. The ambiance and vibe were perfect for the settings. The food was served hot and tasty and a generous portions. The staff were friendly and attentive.A nice varied selection of local craft beers were available.Attached to the Madison Hotel. Highly recommended.

We were staying at The Madison Hotel, so GK's provided a convenient dining option(as did Rod's Steakhouse), but both are good enough to visit even if you're not a hotel guest.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was historic, classy, and comfy. Loved it and want to return soon. The beer was tasty, too.

The bar and the service is amazing - and there is a special beer list which contains rare, hard to find beers! 🍻

Very good food, nice quiet place for a good lunch. Now the dinner time crowd may be different, lunch was nice and quiet. The wings and the prime burgers were very good. Shoestring fries were also very good. Beer selection is good with maybe 2 dozen beers to choose from. The wine list is extensive and the spirit list looked equally so. I would recommend.

What a great Kale Salad with fabulous dressing and perfectly grilled salmon. You can't miss at Red Dog!!!

Love this spot! My friend & I went here for lunch, we shared the cranberry salad & fig & pig flat bread, both delicious! (Flat bread was very generous size)
We both enjoyed our sandwiches. I opted for the fruit salad on the side! Super fresh! Dan our server was excellent. Will be back.

The server was trying to place the plate on the table without dumping the fries, when a few slid off, he brought another plate of fries, fresh and hot and no charge.

Our local go to for years. Great ambiance, food and service. In the colder months get a table near the fire place, very nice. I actually prefer the Tavern to Rod’s (same building, more formal dining option) Love the Turkey Burger with quac and the disco fries, open face turkey sandwich is good too! Nice bar, good place to grab drinks. Valet parking always a plus.

Fantastic spot! Cozy bar area for happy hour, a great menu of delicious foods.. so sad that their chicken pot pie is seasonal and only available when it gets colder, because it's easily my favorite! Business casual attire isn't uncommon here. Plenty of parking in the huge lot outside. Good for a date night.

We came here with my aunt and uncle for dinner while staying in Morristown over the holidays. I had the Kobe burger and a salad, my wife had steak, everything was delicious and the staff was great. I would definitely come back here to try more dishes and enjoy the old school American restaurant atmosphere.

Wonderful service - limited menu because of CoVid but still worth going for a meal.

The disco fries are classic Jersey! All the menu items are delicious. I highly recommend the fig and pig flatbread! The owner can be seen walking around. He really cares about his customer's experience.
