Just Wow! My boys took me out for Mother’s Day. I wanted to go here. We did not go on Mother’s Day. The place is clean. The staff is very nice. Our waiter, omg, I can’t remember your name. I think Chris. Anyway, absolutely a phenomenal waiter; funny, polite, patient, cute.
The food is tasty, fresh, very hot ( temperature). The portions are large! The prices weren’t too bad.

Loved my experience at Chimney Rock Inn! The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Brian who really made our night. Their food was delicious, with some really unique options I haven't seen elsewhere. Plus, they're adding new cocktails to the menu all the time – gotta love that! The location is perfect, too. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular – cheers to Chimney Rock Inn!

I have been passing this restaurant for the past years and never stopped by to try it. My loss!! Surprised by its delicious food, warm family atmosphere, and inexpensive price for such a level of restaurants. Plenty of seats but still recommend to make reservations. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. It's a good choice to enjoy your family meals here! Recommended....

I was actually temporarily miss placed when starvation hit and we stopped here.
What a quaint place, definitely family oriented.
Our server was on his game, he was kind enough to give us ideas of things to do. For our next visit.
Portion size could have been a bit bigger.
Parking was good, handicapped friendly, child friendly.
Give this place a whirl !

This is a good family restaurant. We tried the kids chicken tenders, very good. We had the vegan chili, and the vegan burger. (The burger was okay). I tried the "Chimnechanga". Different but very good. The waitress was very good.

Haven't been here in over 10 years. Great return. Absolutely best French onion soup. Superb taste of broth and cheese and other. If you like thin crust pizza. There's is great. The Cole slaw with brisket was also amazingly good. Everything had great taste. Christina was our server. Also superb. Will return for sure.

First time @ Chimney Rock. Love this place. Old fashioned neighborhood bar with great staff & service. Food is great especially their pizza & burgers. It's really busy place so expect a bit of wait to be seated.

After arriving for the first time, the place was busy, the atmosphere was wonderful, the food was excellent, and our party really enjoyed ourselves.

Waited to write a review until the third visit, but I’ve NEVER had a bad meal here. Waitstaff is always friendly and attentive without being pushy. Sometimes on holidays or weekends there is a bit of a wait but it’s worth every minute for the food. Price to flavor/value ratio is always on point. Beer selection is great. They have excellent specials too!

If you’re not sure where to go for family or date night, you won’t be disappointed visiting the Rock.

The food especially the pizza 🍕 is awesome. The staff and service was wonderful and the environment was just excellent.

The more I return to this restaurant, the more I like it. Very unassuming - one wouldn't necessarily expect gluten free meals when entering. The menu is chock-full of options! I am celiac and feel very comfortable eating here and had more food choices than any restaurant I've been to that's not specific to celiacs (which often seem few and far between). Dessert options, too, that aren't just a cup of fruit!
Excellent food and service. Our server Lauren was attentive and had a wonderful personality. I would highly recommend this restaurant for those with or without celiac. Many vegan options, too!

Excellent local pizza place! If you are a fan of thin crust pizza like I am, you definitely owe it to yourself to pay this place a visit. Excellent variety of pizza, with personal favorites being the Pretizza (pretzel crust). They have several dining areas, as well as a bar and some outdoor seating for the summer months. Service is always quick and friendly, and there is rarely a time you will not have to wait for table so be prepared. You can order ahead online for takeout from their website, which I recommend.

We took my Aunt here for here birthday cause it's her favorite place that she'd been coming to for years when we was in the area! I loved it too and am excited to bring my boyfriend here for a nice, cozy date. I ordered the Big Kahuna Burger...and it was the best burger I have had in a while...whomever is in that kitchen knows what's up--so yummy!!
The nachos had lots of toppings and the portions for all four of our meals were a good value for the price.

We just had my daughters first birthday party at the Bridgewater location on saturday 2/25. When it came time to plan my daughters 1st birthday party I was overwhelmed & not many options when you are planning a February birthday, because of weather being unpredictable. I had come across this website/article about the best places to have parties in NJ, & Chimney Rock was one of the top rated. Even though I had never even been there before, reading the reviews and seeing their menu options I was pretty confident. Their event coordinator Dawn from start to finish made the whole planning flawless. She responded to my emails so quickly & answered all my questions. When I tell you I researched about 15 places, I’m not lying, and Chimney Rock’s prices were outstanding. We couldn’t believe how much food you were getting for the price.

When it came to party day, all my nerves went away, when we got there to set up the decorations they had everything ready to go for us. the room was the perfect size for the number of guests we had. the servers who were in charge of our party couldnt have been more nice and attentive. They are so organized, clearing plates, refilling the pitchers of soda & water, packing up the leftover food and labeling the containers. I myself was in the service business for 8 years, you can tell when the staff really cares about their job & their guests, they aren’t just doing it for the cash, & let me tell you, thats very rare to find & when you do its like winning the lottery when you find a staff like Chimney Rock has. When I tell you we will definitely be hosting another party here in the future, it’s without question. We cant thank them enough for making our daughter’s first birthday so special and flawless.

all the food was delicious!!!! but some of our guest’s favorites were the buffalo shrimp, pierogies, & pizza :)

also most places give you such a hard time about hanging decorations, but Chimney Rock doesn’t have much restrictions which is an added plus.

We came in with a large party of 20. Our reservation was double booked but they accommodated us quickly, just not in the room we had reserved. The service was great and so was the food. Five of us wanted the same beer so our server recommended a pitcher, which was perfect and she brought us frosted mugs! 🍻

Awesome thin crust pizza, wings and fried pickles! You have to try chicken pot pie. Really fluffy and delicious! Probably the best I've had.

Finally tried the gluten free pizza and it really is the best I’ve had in nj! The nachos are also very good

We looked up restaurants near our hotel and decided to try Chimney Rock Inn and are we ever glad that we did!! The food is absolutely AMAZING! The cedar plank salmon was THE BEST I've ever had....so melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My hubby's ribs were extremely tender and bursting with flavor. The appetizer we originally order was not available so our waitress recommend the spring rolls~ WOW!!! SO light, crispy and full of flavors....loved these! The waitress was very friendly and helpful and the staff all very nice. Honestly we said that we would come stay in the area again just so we can eat here again. HIGHLY recommend!

We have visited this location for years and simply love the food and atmosphere! The service at this location is always excellent. We have known the manager here since my wife and I were dating and he has always greeted us through the years and makes this place special. Not to mention the wooden style log cabin interior makes it unique to the area. We recently visited this location for our daughters birthday and again the service was excellent! We had a party of 20 people and our waitress Rachel took very good care of us with our order and drink refills. What also makes this location special is of course the food. I have been wanting to review and take pictures of this location but the food is soo good I forget to take the pics and by the time I remember it’s too late. I almost forgot again for this review but caught myself. The pizza is excellent. The slices are small thin and crispy and the variety of pizzas available are great. The cheese fries, nachos, mozzarella sticks are awesome too. The desserts are a must have. I highly highly recommend visiting this location and it’s one of my favorite family restaurants I like to visit in NJ.
