Dorbrook Recreation Area

Amazing playground. Clean, beautiful and well maintained. Lots of game options. My kids really enjoyed it and want to come back. No parking problem.

Dorbrook Recreation Area is so beautiful and clean. I can’t believe I’ve never been here before. There are wide paved trails that are perfect for running and walking your dog. You can even go for a hike in the woods and see the Swimming River Reservoir. The view is amazing! There’s so much to do here with all the athletic fields, playgrounds, basketball court, tennis court, skating rink, a pool and a water playground. You will really enjoy it here!

This is one of the best parks I think I’ve gone to with the kids. It’s clean and it has such a variety of things for them to do. Great spot to bring bikes or scooters. The splash area is so much fun kids seems to enjoy it very much. Bathrooms are clean. Trails to walk are also very nice and all kid friendly. Worth checking it out.

One of kids’ favorite playgrounds. They keep asking for it. Plenty of space even on busy days. Nearby sprayground is a must try in summer months

My kids call this their favorite park, and with good reason. Summertime means swim lessons and spray park, the numerous playground activities are accessible year round , as are the hiking and biking paths. In addition there are numerous county run activities for all age ranges all year.

A sprinkler park, a dry park with lots of items including sand, toilets, picnic tables, soccer ground, greenery, what else the kids need.....? I have seen many sprinkler parks but either the water area is small or the dry park area. This one is an exception. An excellent 5 to 6 hour spend on a weekend.

A great place to take a walk/run or just be outside and enjoy the scenery. Also a fun place to take your dog. In addition to the trails and fields, there are athletic facilities and playgrounds. Overall, this is a really wonderful county park.

Beautiful county park created from former farmland. Still grows hay in summer. Two+ mile paved walk for walking/running/biking/skating, plus some wooded paths along the reservoir.

There is also a field hockey rink, baseball fields, tennis courts, and a sprayground for the kids.

Great spot for photographers, too. There is a Purple Martin sanctuary to which the birds migrate back from Brazil each spring.

This playground is a delight with diverse child-friendly areas. From a creative sand activity section to exciting climbing structures, it offers endless fun. The music area allows kids to explore instruments, while shaded benches provide parents comfort.

It's a well-maintained space that caters to both fun and safety, ideal for families seeking engaging outdoor play. Highly recommended!

Love the paved trail to skate on (2 mile loop) and plenty of recreation area (outdoor hockey rink, splash park, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball field, open fields for picnics, etc. Dog friendly. A lot of parking space. Port-o-Potty for bathroom. A great place to take a walk.

Dorbrook is such a great park. There are different things to do for all ages. Great toddler section, spray park, picnic tables.

You can spend 2 to 3 hours at the playground and splash park area with your kids. My 7 and 9 year old had a blast.

Beautiful park with lots of facilities and sports courts. Hockey rink (not ice). Basketball courts. Spray ground in the summer mints requires a reservation thru the Monmouth County Parks department.

Beautiful park with long paved paths and unpaved trails, as well as sports courts/fields and a big accessible playground. Always a gorgeous expanse of sky views, and nearly always quite windy because of the wide-open space, so bring an extra layer just in case.
