WENT THIS MORNING WITH MY GRANDKIDS - THE GENERAL STORE DOES AN AMAZING JOB. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, SANTA WAS WONDERFUL AND IT IS AMAZING HOW THEY DON'T TRY TO RIP OFF FAMILIES. SUPPORTING LOCALLY IS SO IMPORTANT. THANK YOU FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. GREAT JOB!!!

This is my go-to breakfast place when I am in Colts Neck.

Local family owned business that makes you feel welcome. When you are dining in, it's as if you are in your own dining room. People chit-chat with each other, and you are made to feel at home.

Best general store and deli in NJ! Great sandwiches and food! Mary and her team are awesome!

First time I went to the Colts Neck general store was 53 years ago as a kid , it's good to see the time has not changed it at all 👍

Stopped in for breakfast and the staff was very friendly. The environment was awesome, I ended up sitting down and talking like old friends to people I just met. The food and coffee were amazing, and the staff was wonderful. Defiantly will return and tell others of this place.

Loved this place.
So many little jars of treats to look through and purchase. Jam's, pickles and salsa just to name a few.
Large menu for eat in or take out. French fries were out of this world. My husband and I both had the jersey burger. Huge burger beautiful roll. My only negative was I couldn't taste the pork roll on the burger since it was only one slice. Definitely going back.

If you have never been here than make sure to put it on your Bucket list. The breakfast was outstanding and fairly priced. The young man cooking greeted me with a smile and cooked my food to perfection. Okay The bacon was cooked so perfect. Usually it comes out to you raw or burnt this was cooked to perfection. Again you must go.

What is not to love about this place. The food, the atmosphere, the location, the Historical charm, all amazing.

This is such a nice family run small business. So happy to have it in our little town. Mary’s created a cozy spot in town to stop in for an excellent breakfast or lunch. I think she is even doing dinners now. The portions are big and always taste so good. Everything is fresh and made to order. Stop by - you wont be disappointed!

This place was great.
Great food i got there right as they were closing the lunch counter at 1:30pm
They allowed me to order my food and eat here
Cheesesteak sandwich was great
I had the one with potatoes
And an order of onion rings
Onion rings were greasy
And not edible but a good meal

Definitely a great restaurant here
Next time I am in town on business i will stop off here for food and drinks

Great comfort food and sandwiches in a casual cozy environment. Feels good to be in there! Expansive menu neatly written above the kitchen area. This is a warm casual eatery that can easily become your regular stop. Local products also for purchase here...a great touch! Friendly accommodating staff.

Wow stopped by for a quick bite while shopping and could not believe how beautifully decorated it was for Christmas! Definitely a must see, food is excellent and the owners do an over the top job, love this place!!

This place is truly a gem! The staff is sooo friendly!! The food is AMAZING and they have huge subs. I got the turkey& cheese and it was stuffed with meat. The bread was so soft & fresh. Good fries too. I love the inside decor- lots of tables / couches to sit at and they also sell home made products such as soap and salad dressing.

I have bin going there for 50 years the service quality of food comfortability customer service is amazing home felt. country setting that's even beautiful and comfortable then ever throughout the years stores unbelievable now with some of the new touches.

It had been 24 years since i last visited home. I stopped by the general store with my buddy mike graham and saw my brother Brandon. Of course I had to endulge in a pork roll egg and cheese!!!
It looked somewhat the same. The staff was friendly.
Hopefully my next visit isn't as long.
