Visited here after a day on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant. Our waitress Kelsy was very friendly and attentive. Started with Spicy Garlic Shrimp , wife had Lobster Bisque. Then I had the Stuffed Shrimp while my wife opted for the Flounder Francaise with Colossal Crab. Food was amazing! The view of the boats docked nearby was nice.

Took some friends here for the twilight dinner last night and we all had a wonderful meal. The atmosphere, looking out at the water from the many windows they have in the dining room, was lovely. The twilight dinner has a nice variety, and all four of us ordered something different. We were all pleased with what we got. We will definitely be going back again.

Our party had a wonderful meal last night in an almost-empty restaurant DESPITE a waitress who clearly had no basic skillset & no common sense about what her job involved - she had no idea what balsamic dressing was, we had to ask for bread & were told with a laugh that she 'forgot'; we had to ask for the cole slaw even though the menu included it with the entrees'. To our pretending-to-be-busy server: You know who you are, & you are "clueless on Channel Drive" for sure. This is definitely not the job for you, especially when the hungry summer crowds show up.

A wonderful experience! My mom and boyfriend both got the King Crab and ate every last bit. I ordered the filet mignon which was charred and cooked to perfection! Linda was our server and she was amazing from start to end! She was very warm and courteous in her service and even came across the large parking lot to find us to bring us the leftovers we had forgotten on the table! We will definitely be back for the food and for Linda! We also got to see a rather large raccoon whom must have gotten lost and winded up on the back platform towards the water. What a treat!

Went for Thanksgiving buffet. The food was great and the wait staff were wonderful. Probably gonna go again next year.

Attended my sister's wedding there. The staff took care of everything. The buffet had a variety of food. Everything tasted great. The view was just perfect.

Had dinner here week before Memorial Day with wife and two kids home for summer from college. Made reservation for 6, but plenty of seating available when we arrived. Vincent was server and he was new, I believe, but we wouldn’t have known if he hadn’t mentioned it. Meaning, he was an excellent server and was very attentive. Atmosphere was great, food was even better (although a smaller extractor fork would have come in handy to pull the meat from lobster claws). Desserts were outstanding. Vincent made this a super experience for us all.

My husband and I where celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary.We wanted a good seafood dinner. This was our first time here.First I want say our waiter Daniel was very attentive,service with a smile.He gave us good suggestions on the menu. My husband dinner, stuffed flounder with I think it was broccolini.DELICIOUS. I had the special menu from 5to7 Broiled seafood combo large shrimp sea scallop and flounder and the roasted carrots also Delicious.we also had martinis tiramisu fory hubby and key lime for me also Delish .oh and the view of the boats passing by while we dine very nice .we want to thank the Lobster Shanty and Daniel for making our Anniversary special

Very good food. Servers seemed annoyed when being asked about allergies and ingredients but nice place overall

Excellent! Brought back so many memories to when I first ate there with my parents 22 years ago! It was Excellent then, and it still is! Had some of the best lobster 🦞 in a long while, and the drinks and appies were all on point as well. Still a Gem in Point Pleasant after all these years!

We visited this Restaurant back in the 80s we plan on going back there again soon. Food and Services were Excellent.

Perfectly splendid atmosphere & the was delicious! Matea was our server she was great, gave really good comments about the dishes. We ordered shrimp risotto, prime rib & hot apple pie. Everything was amazing the food the service the setting the mood everything!

This was our first time eating here, my niece recommended we try this restaurant, it was everything she had said and more! The food was delicious and fresh. We had calamari for appetizers and stuffed flounder for the meal .

A big shout out to The Lobster Shanty and to my bf who took me here for my Birthday (he does not use social media). Hands down one of the best meals I had - down to the bread, apps, second course, and main course. To top it off, probably the best clam chowder I have ever had and I have tried a lots of clam chowders in my lifetime!!! It was such an intimate and magical night!❤❤❤❤🎂🎉🎈🍰🕯🎁

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's bridal shower at the Lobster Shanty. Nancy was wonderful to help us organize the party, as well as the woman who helped us the day of the event (I'm sorry I forgot her name). The venue was beautiful, the service was awesome, and my guests raved about the food. They did a wonderful job!!!

Water Views are magnificent. Beautiful event rooms, went to a bridal shower.

Hosted my daughter's baby shower this past Saturday and it was perfect. Guests raved about the food and the service was impeccable.

This was a classy place and we all really enjoyed our food! We had a reservation for 12 people and we got seated right away, had good views of the water, and were promptly and well taken care of. There was even a wedding cocktail hour and reception going on and we were treated well and we weren't bothered by the party (and the restaurant didn't seem to bother them at all, either).

We called ahead of time to check dress code and were told no swimsuits or tank tops, but it definitely felt like a nice restaurant. It is rather pricey and had only a couple of non-seafood menu options (though they were all tasty!) so be aware if anyone in your party has a dislike of seafood.

My friends got married recently and had their reception at Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty. The room was nice. The food was honestly the best food that I have ever had at a wedding. It was incredible. I had the seafood platter, my friend had the steak and we tried the chicken dish also. Could not complain about a thing. The cocktail hour was also fantastic. The bartenders were super friendly as well as the servers. This was a great place!
