Red's Lobster Pot Restaurant

Red's Lobster House (not to be confused with the franchise Red Lobster) is a pier side restaurant with a family oriented atmosphere. The staff are cheery, welcoming, and attentive. My group was placed in outside seating which gave us a fantastic view of boats going by, however the restaurant also has indoor seating.

The food was great, simple yet executed expertly. I had the lobster roll, which was worth every dollar. My group also ordered a pitcher of sangria which was refreshing.

The alcohol menu is limited to a few wines so if you're not accustomed to the taste of fermented grape juice I suggest you bring your own bottle.

If you have a craving for lobster and don't mind the fees, lobster is priced at market value, I see no reason not to come.

This place is a wonderful experience. I have gone here many times. This time my wife took me for my 40th birthday as a surprise. I was quite excited. Staff is always polite. Food is wonderful with great chucks of everything.
This trip around food tasted good had nice pieces of lobster. I had the salmon which was good. Upon coming home about 2 hours later well I got sick for the rest of the nice. Which is why food is rated 4. Things do happen and believe if they are working especially with seafood all day and not cleaning there board these things can happen. Lucky it was a mild case. Yes I would go again. This is my favorite place.

Really nice place right next to the water. They have indoor as well as outdoor dining. It was really full when we came.in but the wait staff found us a spot really quickly. We ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and the fish & chips. Both were amazing, especially the tacos. Very good food, a little bit on the pricey side but the serving sizes are quite large (can easily be shared between two people).

The grilled oysters get better every time. The caprese salad was perfection, ripe summer tomatoes, balsamic reduction, burrata, pesto. Available wines are blah, try the red or white sangria. Seasoned uber-friendly wait staff. Still my favorite eatery in Point Pleasant.

My family has been going here for years whenever we are down the shore. The location is great with a view of the river and the boats. It is one of the best sea food places in the area. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food is always fresh. I think their batter used for the fish and chips and fried clam strips is delicious. I look forward to coming back each season.

Red's is 100%. My family and I have had several different competitor places in the immediate area, as we do every year during our time in Point Plesant while visiting family. So its an annual look going back a decade. Red's has taken the cake for quality, freshness, service and atmosphere. They have made a few changes over the years and they have all been for the better.

If you food is not up to par, it simply won't be served. We had the manager/owner(? Sorry I don't know ?) tell us there would be no lobster bisque served after ordering as it was simply not ready to be served and was not currently the quality they would like to put out. That my friend is what is known as high class. And I thank you Red's, for it. We all do.

Make a reservation early because at the pace Red's is setting, its going to be unseatable in the busy season if you don't.

My absolute favorite restaurant! Food is always fantastic. The view is outstanding. The service makes you feel like you are home. You can not fake fresh. I’ve never had a bad meal here, ever. The seafood is truly incredible. I get so excited to find out what is on special, no matter what you order, you will be happy. Sunset here is magic. We love Marissa, and Mike and Ellen!

Upon arrival in the parking lot we met a gentleman named Tom. Come to find out he was the owners father. Marissa the owner met us with a smile and sat us immediately. Had a pot of steamers and a lobster roll. It was absolutely delicious. The staff was very personable and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely on the water.

Incredible service,fast, friendly, witty and accommodating. Lovely deck with fabulous selection on the menu and exciting specials of the day. Small outdoor place yet comfortable. I'm vegetarian so selection for me obviously wasn't great but I "scored" with the vodka rigatoni. It's BYOB but they have also California wines

We go to Red's for dinner occasionally and it is always very good. We've eaten inside, which is quaint but nice, and have also eaten outside which is perfect on a nice day. The food is fresh and consistently tasty. My most recent trip I had a crab cake appetizer, blackened tuna entree, and homemade key lime pie... all delicious!

We've been to maybe 20 spots from Sandy Hook down to Atlantic City, and no one comes close.

I always recommend the scallops too. The view is great, fishing boats come in and out- the sun sets are just breathe taking.

I like their new reservation set up, I've been coming here for years. Do your self a favor and try it.

Love love this place! Excellent lobster roll and crunchy fish & chips! Had the half dozen clams on half shells and half dozen oysters on half shells, fresh, fresh fresh!

This place is amazing! From the lobster roll, location, service, vibe, and delicious red sangria. Would highly recommend.

Dined at Red's Lobster Pot last night on the patio. Great atmosphere, sunset across the inlet and a nice pitcher of white sangria. The food was excellent I opted for the 1.5 lb loster special while others in my party had fish and shrimp dishes. All were happy with their selections. We shared two desserts Keylime pie and a frozen chocolate banana pie. All were great. Most important: we'll be going back soon!

Beautiful outdoor dining...awesome view! Excellent service and very good food! Ordered the crab cake sandwich and lobster roll...delicious! Sangria was also tasty and refreshing.

Amazing experience. I was nervous about my baby in a stroller but the staff was super accommodating! Food was amazing.. great view.. overall 10/10

First, I love the Jersey Shore. Red's is a staple for me when I'm down at the shore. The seafood selection is fantastic and so so fresh. I was ordering Lobster while a guy was delivering his catch of lobsters from the day. A must try is Red's lobster bisque. Needless to say our dinner was unbelievable. Try going around sunset to see the amazing views. The meal at the restaurant and the day was exceptional with my girlfriend. Thanks Red's I'll be back often.

My girlfriend and I discovered Red’s Lobster Pot a few weeks ago, and just returned again this past weekend with two of our friends! The staff is super accommodating and friendly, and the food is outstanding. We will be back again for sure!
