KIKU Hibachi & Sushi

We had a great experience at Kiku, and here is why. I like the size of the location where it feels more personable than other larger hibachi restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and the location was very clean. The hibachi chef was good and had a great personality while cooking and making the experience fun. What really topped it all of was the food. The soup was Ok however the salad dressing was fantastic and fresh. What I like is the entree portions are large where you receive both lime in and rice with your meal and lots of it. I ordered the filet mignon with chicken hibachi combo ($38) which was cooked perfectly. This is a BYOB establishment which is also a plus. Overall, a great experience and will certainly be back.

If you're looking for a fantastic sushi and hibachi experience, look no further than Kiku Sushi. The sushi is some of the freshest and most delicious I've ever tasted. The fish is expertly prepared and beautifully presented, with a wide range of options to satisfy any sushi lover. The sashimi is particularly noteworthy, with each piece melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavor. Last but not least, the service is impeccable. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience.

Food was delicious and the chef was awesome and super nice. Loved the energy at this place. Every staff member were also very kind and welcoming. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. Looking forward to going back in the near future.

Kiku is the best Hibachi restaurant. Better than the big names Arirang, Benihana but also better than any of the comparable-size places that I've been to. You would not expect it - Hibachi in the middle of Bedminster? - but it's a great place. I was actually so skeptical that I was not even going to try it until someone close to me did and told me it was worth a try. Their hibachi is the most deliciously flavorful that I've had and their sushi rolls are also delicious and very fresh (as they should be). The fish melts in your mouth. They will do hibachi for any amount of people - even if you are just 2 at the end of the night with no one else at the table. The portions are very sizeable (which you want when you're paying 40-60 $ per entree for rice, veggies, and meat. You won't ever leave hungry. Also, this place is BYOB which makes it even better. You spend your money on the food and not on the bar. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking to go out for hibachi. I have yet to try their regular Japanese entrees but I have seen several people in the regular restaurant so I am sure it is delicious as well. But for hibachi, it'll be your new favorite place.

Best hibachi I've had. Also loved the volcano roll. Do not recommend the scallops though.... I think I paid $18 for a side and only received 4 of them. 1 of them tasted weird so I didn't finish it. Definitely coming back here again for hibachi and sushi.

Love this place. Quality, friendly service & have never left hungry! Always happy with the portions and fresh product. Will continue to come back again and again.

Great spot to hit up for lunch my wife and I shared a chicken teriyaki bento box and a two roll combo.

I use to go here with my kids when they were little. It's s great hibachi place with good food. I think the food is better then chains such as Benihana. The atmosphere is pleasant and not obnoxious like said restaurant. The preparers were great and did the traditional type flipping knives and getting big fireballs. Kids really enjoy going here.

Sushi is delicious, hibachi is awesome, been coming here for a decade now. Great for the whole family.

Food was excellent. I had the hibachi shrimp and scallops. Fish cooked to perfection. This was my first time here.. we will definitely go back.

This was my first time at Kiku, which was recommended by a friend. This place offers both sushi as well as hibachi. My review is strictly for a sit down sushi experience. The menu is extensive with a wide variety of rolls. Everything is fresh. Service is only thing needing improvement as it is slow and I felt rushed after paying the bill even though it was not a peak hour. However, I will be returning because sushi was so good. Highly recommend bringing your own bottle and order an appetizer (try the rock shrimp) and definitely plan to spend some time here enjoying great cuisine and company.

Smaller than traditional hibachi restaurant but just as good if not better. Chefs put on a great show and have great personality. Fast service, don't chase you out afterwards which is hard to come by in restaurants like these. Food is great, best hibachi steak I've had anywhere. I'm sure ready of menu is just as good. Sushi appeared fresh with good portions though I didn't order any

Went on Mother’s Day and sat on the sushi side. The service was friendly, attentive, and everything came out in a timely manner. Food and fish were fresh and well prepared. Am looking forward to trying the hibachi side next time.

Fresh sushi, very solid and tasty selection. Hibachi is always fun, the cooks are very entertaining. Normal seating hibachi as well. Service always superb and friendly. Great go to, highly recommended, will continue to frequent! Thank you for always being a great time!

Wonderful staff they waited for us to get there because they were about to close the whole staff sat & waited while we ate they didn’t rush us at all and food was AMAZING. I don’t understand how anyone has rated this place anything less than 5 stars!!!

I had hibachi meal here and I can't wait to return!! Food was fresh and tasted great. The atmosphere was upscale and yet inviting.

Great take-out hibachi experience tonight. Good portions and great flavors. (The veggies were just as tasty as the proteins) Looking forward to trying other items at our next visit.

Great food and atmosphere for any age and group! I could see the food was fresh coming out of kitchen and grilled to perfection (performance was an added bonus.)

Suni is so helpful here. We had a misunderstanding of a pick up order. She explained everything to me, and made me want to come back! Food is delicious, and they have a great atmosphere!!

My husband and I love this place! Food is superb and the staff is amazing. Hibachi is a blast!
