Dr. Behnam Salari: Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey

In September of 2019 I injured what I thought was my back. The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey was able to see me right away, they did an X-ray and an MRI and scheduled me to see Dr. Salari. He told me the problem was in my neck and I needed surgery to correct it. He understood I was overwhelmed and prescribed physical therapy to begin as I researched the surgery. The pain was unbearable and physical therapy didn’t help so I decided to have the surgery. He scheduled me right away, he was concerned for my well being and was very confident in the surgery correcting my issue. Right when I woke up from surgery I noticed the pain was gone, my hand felt normal. I am still currently recouping, as it’s only 3 weeks after surgery, but I am so happy I had the surgery and so happy I chose Dr. Salari. After 20 years of back pain and seeing what Dr. Salari did for me, my wife is going to have him correct her back issues as well. If you want a professional doctor who knows what they are doing and truly cares about helping you and your well being Dr. Salari is the one you should go to.

Dr. Salari was very thorough about explaining what the surgery would entail and what my recovery would look like. Very personable and didn't sugarcoat anything.
