Back again. The food keeps getting better & better!!! MARIE is a total sweetheart & a terrific owner. 5 star Sandwich & meal shop. Have been to Marie’s 1/2 dozen times in the past few years. I intentionally travel to go here - or make it a point to
stop in. Went to do outside dining during COVID-19 & ended up with take-away (business associate had a change of location). So the takeaway was every bit as good as the dine in has been. Good is good. Worth the trip DDD fan or not - you should go.

Great place! It was pretty empty when we went, but the service was still really good. The food was very tasty, and the portions were huge. The salads and pastas are both pretty solid. I definitely want to try some other things on the menu, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get back because I don’t live very close to it. I was in the area for my sister’s soccer game at Drew University. Again, great place overall.

Amazing Sacred Swine entree! Fans of Triple D experiences, we were in the area, so we stopped. It's a super small venue, set up like a deli or sub shop with 3 tables. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs. Both dishes were outstanding! The Sacred Swine is an unexpected combination of creamy polenta, marinara, pulled pork and broccoli rabe. The portions are ample! I ate half and am happily taking home a second meal of the leftover half! Our server was attentive, but not overly so. We even took home a souvenir t-shirt supporting breast cancer awareness.

I had the Italian pulled pork and words cannot express how well the meat was cooked. Also the vodka sauce is to die for. I’ve never had better vodka sauce in my life. Absolutely incredible food. I will definitely be returning.

I am a traveling salesman and try to find good places to eat in each town. Wow! Great lunch spot. I had a hard time ordering since everything looked worth trying. I went with a chicken pesto sandwich. Now I need a nap. So good.

Everytime I go to Marie's I order something different. It has all been ridiculously good. The Mac and Cheese might be the best in the world.

Best kept secret! Small yet intimate atmosphere. I often get take out from here but like to go for date night too! The pesto pasta is to die for and the mussel appetizer (which could really be dinner) are the best I ever had! Also their subs are HUGE and so delicious! I do not have one bad thing to say about Marie’s

I love this restaurant and they deliver!!!! I was in with my daughter and her baby. We sat outside and the waiter gave us lots of attention. The food is excellent too. My son in law loves the pulled pork pasta. I love their Sunday Sauce! The owner is friends with Guy from Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives...really worth a visit.

To simply put it, if you haven't been there you are a fool. I cannot even begin to explain how good the chicken cutlet was on my sandwich. Sauces are amazing. Cozy atmosphere. If you are lucky enough, you get some entertainment from the owner. Try it all. Everything.

This is one of the first places we went to when we moved to Morristown 4 years ago. The owner was often there to great us and see how we enjoyed the meal. They have some of their recipes written out on boards in the restaurant so you can make the delicious food at home. It’s a BYOB which is always a plus. The portions are huge, and now that they offer delivery we are thrilled. It’s not a fancy place but it always seems to be packed. I believe there are less than 10 tables inside so there is often a wait. They also have a couple outdoor seats. Our faves, on the menu, are the muscles over pasta and the drunken chicken parmigiana diablo (we ask them to make it spicy by adding the Diablo). You’ll enjoy a casual place to enjoy a good meal...and most likely you’ll have leftovers.

Excellent food. Rice balls are the best around. The new crab sauce special is unbelievable. It needs a permanent spot on the menu. All of the pork dishes are wonderful too. You can't go wrong!

We go several times a year when we're seeing a show at a local concert venue. The food is always excellent. The place is very small and typically very busy, especially on weekends, so reservations are highly advisable. One favorite of mine is the Italian Pulled Pork over Polenta, but everything I've tried there has been first rate. It's BYOB (which I also like) so bring a bottle of wine or pick one up at the liquor store on the other side of the mall. Never tried the place for lunch, take out or deli, but I assume that would be good as well.

Marie's is always an exceptional meal, well worth making the trip for. Its casual, welcoming atmosphere, while comfortable, might deceive you into thinking it's just another deli or eatery, when really it is arguably the best place for amazing pasta and sandwiches that I've ever been able to find.

We spent the day on 10/21/17 in NYC. I didn't want to get a hotel in the city, so I got one in Jersey (about 45 minutes from Staten Island) specifically for the purpose of going to Marie's. I can say that my wife and I were blown away. The food, atmosphere, and service was SUPERB!! We had dinner after we arrived Friday night and lunch before we headed back home on Sunday. If you're in the area, PLEASE make sure you stop by and eat at Marie's. If you're not in the area, make a special trip. You won't be disappointed.

Heard about this place on Diners, Drive In’s & Dives. We live in South Jersey & decided to make a day trip and drove the 95 miles. Food was delicious and owner was very friendly. Prices were very reasonable for quality food.

Great food, great management. When I placed a catering order, they stayed to make it even though they had to close the store that day due to a mix up with the supplier. Called me to let me know that the store would look closed when I showed up, but I should just come in any way! And the food was fantastic as always.

I cannot say enough about Marie's! The service and ambiance is amazing and their food is incredible. Easily my favorite Italian restaurant in northern NJ. I highly recommend the chicken parm sandwich.

For starters, the arancini or the mac and cheese are delicious. If you still have room left for an entree, the lobster and crab ravioli is outstanding. Even basic items like the spaghetti with meatballs and sausage are excellent choices for a satisfying dinner.

Went with my family for my 50th. Food was phenomenal and so was the service.

This is a small restaurant / deli that serves fresh Italian fare. Large portions and great flavors on all of the classic Italian entrees and sandwiches. Expect great food in a really casual atmosphere. Drunken Chicken, Chicken Parmigiana and Caprese sandwich are just some of the great selections
