Alfa Bagels

Give credit where it’s due! Their bagels are phenomenal. Pretty much the only reason i go back. They even make a list of best bagels in the area. I agree they’re awesome.
I do my best to only place positive reviews otherwise i dont post at all.
These bagels are great!!
I do wish they were friendlier and more attentive however, i walk in And will legit stand there for a couple minutes while the girls are chatting before they acknowledge me. Almost always.
But there is one staff member, can’t remember her name, she’s wonderful!
All in all, great bagels.

Best Bagels around! If you're looking to try out one of the best bagels I've personally tasted, I'd definitely recommend coming here! Look forward to many future visits to Alfa Bagels.

Excellent bagels.. I think these are the best bagels I have had in Jersey.

These are the best bagels I've ever had in my entire life, and I'm old! And, I've been to all sorts of spots in NYC, including ESS. I'll shout it from the mountaintops: Alfa bagels will beat any NY bagel around and I'll tell you why:

99% of the time, these bagels are warm. They're fresh 100 percent of the time. They've got that chewy but soft interior, that kind of chew that you makes you think, oh, THIS Is what a bagel is supposed to feel like in the mouth. At the same time, the exterior has a nice crust, crisp on the outside. I like their sandwiches, their entire menu, which includes pancakes too, but every time I go, I will at the minimum get a plain bagel just to eat, by itself, because it is a reminder that this is what a bagel is supposed to be.

I have been coming here for years. I think there have been different owners, maybe. But the taste, texture and size can’t be beat! I have tried other bagel shops and I keep coming back to Alfa. I come from Morristown which is not close at all so that is saying something.

I recommend to the owners never, ever change the recipe. Raise the price if you have to but keep doing 100% the same thing because you are doing it right!!

This is an outstanding bagel place. Very light and large bagels. Great bagel sandwiches. Very food staff. Always busy. Parking can be a challenge.

Best bagels, great flavor selection, they keep making more all morning. Friendly staff. Always busy but the staff is fast and the wait is never long.

This is one of those places which if no one told you to go, you would drive right by it. Truly a community gem. fresh bagels made everyday in the back, great people at the counter. Enjoy.

Best bagels I've ever eaten !!

It's not the deli from 40 year's ago but I'm happy to see it still exists and the new owners are doing a fine job, good food reasonable prices

We used to think our regular bagel shop had the best bagels in town- but one town over we found Alpha! These are without a doubt the best bagels I have ever had in my life!!!!!! They sell out quickly but usually have enough in supply or hot and ready to replenish the racks that empty almost as fast as they can stock them. I wish we could add one more star to this rating!!! Yes folks they are that good! You will NOT be disappointed.

Best bagels in NJ, tough parking sometimes but worth it

Just moved to Randolph and was told about Alfa Bagels that they were the best around, but gets busy. Place is clean and people are very nice and the food is worth the wait. If you are up in Randolph stop by you won’t be disappointed.

Whoa this place lives up to the hype. The bagels are delicious - big, chewy, perfect. We had sesame, everything, cinnamon raisin and poppy. All were perfect. Oh and the traffic getting in the parking lot is a mess so be careful.

The best bagels around! The outside is just enough of a crust, to keep the inside moist and soft like pillows. They'll deflate a bit, but I ship these to family out of state....because even day/s old Alfa Bagels are still better than the best in other states!

Alfa bagels is the go to bagel place in the Morris county area. They regularly make fresh, hot, crunch on the outside, doughy and steamy on the inside. The folks here are extremely friendly and my son loves making a Saturday trip here where he constantly asks Daddy to go get bagels. Don’t be dissuaded by the extremely long lines during the peak morning and early afternoon hours, it moves extremely quickly and you’ll be in and out in no time!
