I knew immediately that something bad had happened, which was confirmed by Dr. Epstein – a ruptured Achilles tendon. I’ve never had an injury like this, requiring surgery. I was incredibly thankful how quickly I was fit into the surgery schedule and how responsive all of the staff was at helping to make it happen. Surgery is never easy, especially mid-pandemic when no family can be with you. Dr. Epstein, as well as the staff at the surgical center, put my mind at ease every step of the way. Post-surgery, following the guidance of my doctor and physical therapist, I could see the steady progression each day. Every exercise added to the routine gave me the feeling of accomplishment and a step towards getting back into my active lifestyle. At my first appointment with Dr. Epstein, he had told me that he thought I would be able to ski within 4-5 months. I was hopeful, but also realistic that I may not be ready. Well, 4 months later, I was on skis, easing my way down the mountain! Each day I continue to get stronger and more capable. I can’t thank Dr. Epstein enough for turning my traumatic situation into a success story!

Dr. Epstein did a tremendous job. From start to finish of my shoulder surgery he was great. At the start he took the time to explain everything that he was seeing and then everything that he would be doing for the procedure. He was then sensitive and patient with all my questions. Finally he was supportive and encouraging during my recovery, and expressed genuine happiness for my recovery. Great experience which I need to do again on my other shoulder and will only do it with Dr. Epstein.

Dr. Epstein is simply the best. During my experience with him he has shown great skill and knowledge as well as having an excellent rapport with his patients and the staff that works with him. I feel very comfortable with the manner in which he communicates all factors related to my injury/condition so that an educated decision can be made as it relates to treatment options. Most important, I believe Dr. Epstein is honest and realistic with me and without question has my overall best interests at heart.

I am extremely grateful that Dr. Epstein is my Doctor.

Saw Dr. Epstein for a second opinion. He was on time, staff was professional, experience was great. As a doctor, he spent time with me, answered all questions, did not make me feel rushed, and provided clear feedback. He was also very respectful of the original doctor I had seen. Body of knowledge was obviously excellent and bedside manner excellent. Will be going with Dr. Epstein for future treatment.

This visit far exceeded my expectations. Cynthia in registration/intake was the best. She definitely went above and beyond to get my son seen by the right physician on the day of our visit. Dr Epstein has a wonderful bedside manner.

What was most impressive is that he spoke directly to my son about his injury, his rehab options and expectations for time from rehab to getting him back in the game.

Dr Epstein was recommended by my daughter, after he had treated one of my grandsons. After seeing Dr Epstein, I understood her recommendation. He was very thoughtful, listened to my concerns, and questions, and successfully treated my problem. I'd highly recommend him, as I would the entire staff at Tri-County.

Dr. Epstein and his entire staff made my shoulder surgery as painless as possible. Five months post-op and I am using my shoulder much better than before the surgery. Tore my right quad tendon completely and knew I needed a skilled surgeon to make the repair that would enable me to get back to a very physical life. Dr Epstein was widely recommended and didn’t disappoint. He was very personable and professional. I always felt like I was in the right place. I’m 5 months from surgery, the repair is solid, and I’m able to really start working on strengthening the leg now. I’m very optimistic that in a few months I’ll be in a good place and resuming my very physical lifestyle.

Dr Epstein is a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon. He is compassionate and has an awesome PA working with him. I would highly recommend Dr Epstein for any ankle injuries. I had ankle surgery by Dr Epstein for tendon repair and ligament repair. As a Physical Therapist I was so happy and pleasantly surprised to have such a positive experience and outcome.

Dr Epstein was courteous, extremely friendly, and was very concerned in listening to what brought me to seeing him fir my ailment.
He laid out a plan that would hopefully have me back to 100% in 2 weeks.
Always cordial, he looked forward to seeing me on my follow up visit.

Staff here is great! Dr Epstein is one of those rare doctors who talks you through all your options, and tells you how it is. Honestly fantastic after a few doctors glancing at my chart, and being real short with me. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Dr. Epstein has performed 1 lower, 2 upper bicep and 2 rotator cuff surgeries on me. This doctor is amazing and his bedside manor is impeccable. He takes the time with you, and the results are what speaks for him. My biceps and shoulders are better than they ever were - as if I had no prior issues whatsoever. Highly recommended; he’s worth it!

They did a spine surgery for a herniated disc for me 7 years ago.
I had an ankle instability issue from playing basketball in high school 25 yrs ago.
Dr Epstein IS A GOD! His demeanor is calm & confident which puts you at ease. He performed the surgery, and I’m well into recovery now.
Ask for him, highly recommend. Actually, don’t even bother going to anyone else, he’s the best there is. You only get one body.

Dr. David Epstein is a very personable, professional, caring and down to Earth health expert you can ask for. I'm Very happy with the outcome of my ACL surgery. I feel almost 100% and can do a lot of activities I wasn't able to do in the past. I refer Dr. Epstein to everyone I know that are seeking professional orthopedic advice. :)

Dr. Epstein was friendly, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. His diagnosis seemed to be out on target and he invited me to call him back if the problem was not resolved.

I will definitely go back to him if I have any future orthopedic-type issues.

Doctor Epstein is awesome has a great personality and bedside manner. . Makes u feel welcome and explains everything very therow. Have has done my ankle this season and about to a Miniscus tear on January 24 the.....I highly recommend Tri Country and all the doctors there are all fantastic. Dr. Epstein is a spectacular health provider. Not only is he knowledgeable in all current practices, but also he is very comforting and trustworthy. He truly cares about the well-being of his patients.

I met with Dr. Epstein expecting him to have no bedside manner, as is the case with some other surgeons. Totally not the case. Dr. Epstein was warm and personable. I would recommend him without hesitation and plan to bring my mother to see him.

Dr. Epstein was professional, he listened to me and explained my treatment in an understandable way.

I was seen by Dr. Epstein on time. He was totally prepared for me. He was aware of my recent surgery , he explained why my pain continued, and he gave me options to reduce the pain. He gave me a shot of cortisone and exercises. My pain is very much decreased. His office will arrange with Medicare for continued treatment. He did not rush me and he was very kind.
