Bloom Fabric, Art & Retreat

We stayed at Bloom for a retreat weekend. This was a relaxing time spent sewing and bonding with friends. The rooms were comfortable an d felt like home away from home. We will definitely be planning a return trip to Bloom soon.

My girlfriends and I recently had a retreat weekend at Bloom. It was the best retreat we have ever been on. The shop and living quarters are amazing. Lori and Katie were so friendly and accommodating. The retreat area is truly a haven for relaxation, creativity, and just all around good karma. I would highly recommend this retreat facility for any quilter or anyone interested in fabric arts. The workspace was planned out beautifully as was the living quarters and kitchen area.
Also, the shop is fully stocked with beautiful fabrics, tools, sewing supplies, yarns and basically anything you would need to complete your project. The entire space is filled with beautiful quilts that provided a marvelous inspiration for creativity. We came home relaxed, inspired and looking forward to our next visit to Bloom!

This is a beautiful quilt shop with such a nice selection of fabrics. I’ve found so many gems in this shop, from jelly rolls, to canvas, and of course yards of quilting cotton! They also have some yarn and other crafts kits and supplies. A must visit for crafters in the area!

6 friends met at Bloom Retreat with various projects to do. The weather was cold and sleety and ugly, so we loved hibernating in the cozy retreat for a weekend of laughter and fabric arts!!!! The rooms are lovely,giving us a coddled feeling. The store, attached to the retreat, is fully equipped with pretty fabrics and supplies. That is a huge bonus. Katie, proprietor, was helpful and fun. We ate our breakfasts in , and enjoyed stretching our legs with a short walk for lunches and dinner. . Little Margaretville has a surprising number of shops in which to indulge. I recommend you congregate with some friends or come to make new ones ...at BLOOM FABRIC,ART & RETREAT.

I LOVE it here! The atmosphere is so cheerful and warm. Lori and Katie are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions I have. And the fabric selection is wonderful! So many options, I think of a new project I want to work on every time I visit! The retreat area is so tastefully decorated and comfortable, it's a great spot to get away from it all!

The Bloom is a great place to shop for my quilting needs. Love all the colorful fabric options and can’t wait to go back and get more. Owners are just super amazing - very accommodating and friendly. Love, love, love how clean, neat & tidy the store is. Really wished I lived closer...

Just stayed at Bloom for a weekend quilter's retreat and had a lovely time. We were welcomed by gracious hosts, and the 1st floor retreat space is beautiful and spacious. We booked two more retreat weekends before we left, and I can't wait to get back! 🌺

Proprietor seemed very knowledgeable. Prices are accessible on the hobby level, they really seem to bed into quilting here, however they have a very good mish mash of other fabric based crafts like yarn, thread, fabric etc. Looking forward to checking out some classes or retreats

Beautiful shop in the heart of quaint Margaretville, NY. Perfect stop for quilters, knitters, and crafters of all kinds. Recently opened retreat is also the perfect place to spend the weekend with friends while working on crafting projects. Rooms are tastefully decorating with views over the small stream that runs through the heart of town.

We attended a quilt retreat and can’t recommend it strongly enough! The space is gorgeous, the people are super nice, and it’s very affordable. Oh and the store has a wonderful selection! There’s a delicious chocolate shop next door as a bonus.

Great selection of fabrics, yarns, and other crafting supplies in the heart of the Catskills. Also a fun place to hang out and work on your quilting or knitting projects. They also have adorable rooms to stay in at their retreat that includes a beautiful project room. xo, Sally from NST Pictures

When I took a precious quilt top in, Katie was so helpful and gracious and I can't wait to see it after she works her longarm magic and quilts it!!!

A great place for a quilty ladies retreat. Lori and Katie are amazing and the shop is beautiful. We are heading back for a long weekend soon!
