This place has definitely improved since the beginning. I enjoy taking my kids here for Saturday breakfast because they serve good craft beer and the food is always great. I always get the meat omlette with Jalapenos added. They have the most delicious Rye bread for toast which they also use on their Reuben Sandwich which is also amazing.

I was in from PA back in October so I of course had to have the cheese curds. They were the best breaded fried ones I have ever had. The burger was really good as well.

Had a great lunch and took friends back for breakfast. Three of us had the 9" breakfast Southern pizza. I had the biscuits and gravy. All were delicious. The kids shot a couple of games of pool after eating. Great time.

The atmosphere had always been so fun - with or without kiddos. And the food has definitely stepped up. I can recall a bad experience or two with the sides, but I'd have to say it's gotten better (that or I've learned to pick the better options). And the service this last time was very friendly, she was great toward my birthday girl (4).
Can't wait to get back with nicer weather for the outdoor seating area.

We have had good service on multiple visits and nearly perfect food. We love the freshness of the food obtained as locally as possible.... pleased with the salad choices. The yellow fin tuna with pesto dressing is excellent as well as the chicken bacon ranch salad.

This place was way bigger than we expected. If you love to shoot pool, this is definitely the place to go! Staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was very good.

But I wanna take a moment to say how INCREDIBLY grateful I am for the owner.. my wedding ring ended up going down the drain, and the owner was amazing to take a few minutes from shooting in the pool tournament to find something to pull it out with.. 10 years, have never dropped my ring like that, so glad it was somewhere with such amazing people!

I loved this place. Great food, nice atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. On top of that you can rent a pool table by the hour. 👍👍👍 I don't know where the third thumb came from, but they deserve it.

I got the grilled chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and mac ‘n cheese. The mashed potatoes were so good and they tasted super fresh. I don’t know if I’d get the beef gravy on it next time but it wasn’t bad. The chicken breast was sooo good and tender. It had a lot of flavor and I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was okay but it didn’t have a ton of flavor.

The waitress was very nice and she even ran outside when someone at the table forgot their phone. The restaurant was clean and everyone is the staff seemed friendly.

Digging this burger spot! Haven't shot any pool yet, but there's plenty if you're into that. Staff might be a bit thin on the ground, so brace for a bit of a wait, but trust me, it's worth it. The sandwich spread? Top-notch!

Please make sure you stop by this place for food and fun! The food is excellent and bread / muffins we had were home made. Ask for AMY or TRACY as servers they were wonderful and attentive (they both deserve a raise). We came with a large group. Kudos to both of them. My daughter and I ate GF and felt great.

First time here and we will be back! Service was a little slow, but they do have a sign stating they are short staffed. The food was delicious! Great burgers, and the mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! Definitely worth the extra expense.

Went to the Mad Apple for lunch and the Mediterranean Salad with Yellow Fin Tuna was mouthwatering. I would have thought I was at a seafood restaurant off the ocean for how wonderful the Yellow Fin Tuna tasted. I’ll be coming back to try other options and thanks for the excellence service!

You don’t have to play billiards to enjoy the food. My wife and I joined our friends here for lunch and we were all pleased with our decision, and food selection. We sat in a booth open on both ends in the somewhat large dining area that included a bar. The back room contained pool tables and high top tables along the wall. Even beyond the pool tables was another room that could be set up for private dining or other events such as receptions and parties. Back to dining...the menu included appetizers, burgers (beef, bison, elk, venison), sandwiches and wraps, a good variety of sides, salads, and steaks, plus items for kids. I ordered the Mad Apple burger with the bbq sauce on the side. The burger was quite tall but I managed to consume it anyway. The trick was to not let go of it once I had it in my hand. The side order of hand cut fries was good too and I ate every last one. If you want a healthier fare, there are some items as well so I recommend checking out their menu online. The font used on the menu mimicked the font used for the business name and was not the easiest to read. While it may have been cute to use it throughout their menu, they neglected to realize It is far from being one of the easier to read fonts like Georgia or Arial. Outside of this marketing blunder, my group enjoyed the dining experience including the very friendly staff. Lastly, if you are a billiard player and need your cue stick fixed, there is also a store within that take care of all of your billiard needs including a new table and stick repairs.

6 months later we returned for breakfast. We started out with some Bloody Mary’s and a craft beer chaser. Excellent tasty beverage at a reasonable price. We followed up with a build your own plate where I chose my two eggs easy over, 2 slices of thick bacon (I received 3), breakfast potatoes, and 1 slice of thick French toast. The menu shows I should have received two slices but one was plenty. The bread, including hamburger buns, is homemade, fresh, and thickly dense. It was very filling. Two slices would have put me over the edge. My bride had the pancakes with two patties of the HOMEMADE sausage. This place is another of Appleton’s undiscovered secrets. Remember this place if you want breakfast! Skip Denny’s and IHOP. They are not even close. And the staff is still extremely friendly and helpful. Lastly, they changed the menu font to one that is easily read. It may not look like your typical breakfast stop but you should put it on your radar. It is on ours.

Hands down Makayla killed it tonight, I’ve never personally had a better waitress! Believe me we eat out alot! First time at mad apple and def will be our new favorite (when she’s working). Professional, prompt and her excellent customer service speaks volume for the establishment. Bravo mad apple, you need 10x more makaylas! Food was great, $100 bill for 4 people is beyond reasonable, enjoy your $150 tip you made our night!!!!

Ben was my bartender and i just wanna say great service, Overall The whole crew that was working was amazing but i dealt with ben the most, recommended to us the nachos they have and these turned out to be some of the best ones we've had. Will most definitely go again no doubts.!

We booked the party room for our fantasy football draft. The place is just all around great, from the staff to the food to the environment. Our hostess Amy was super friendly and accommodating, always on top of everything. She made our entire experience easy and fun, and she deserves a 10/10 for her outstanding service. If you are looking for a super affordable party room rental for your fantasy Draft or other event, I highly recommend The Mad Apple. We would love to book again!
