Should have a couple of shower stalls. People bathing in lake. Clean outhouses. Beautiful lake. One of our favorite campgrounds.

Buffalo Lake Campground in the Northern Highlands-American Legion State Forest is classified as rustic, having only pit toilets and hand water pumps.

Scenery there meets-or-beat many Wisconsin state parks. Saw three eagles, great blue heron, fisher near here June 2022.

Less used than state parks, which we like. Minutes from a dozen other DNR lakes, trails, campgrounds, wildlife areas --- and SHOWERHOUSES.
