Authentic and delicious.
One of the best menudo I have tried in Salt Lake City. The tacos de barbacoa were also tasty. It took a while to get the food but honestly it was better to wait than to get something fast. Worth trying if you like real Mexican food.

Wow, Nico’s Restaurant is really yummy. It doesn’t look like a great place from the exterior of the restaurant but the food is amazing. I got the steak burrito and loved every bite. We had a large order and they were amazingly fast. This restaurant is worth checking out.

The restaurant is clean and it is not stuffy in the red . The food portions are great and the taste is good. I have been trying to find a good place with enchiladas and I have finally found it . I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

100/10 food is amazing! Very authentic. Big portions and fair prices for how much food you get! Amazing customer service! They gave us chips and salsa and the salsa is so good a kick of spice but full of flavor! Smaller business but you won’t regret it! I got 2 enchiladas with a taco. Very tasty!

Our waitress was new but very nice. I had the Chicken Burrito without beans and rice... yummy! The fajitas chicken was so tender it was delicious! The hibiscus drink was great!

I had the carne asada and it was filling and delicious. The server was attentive and accommodating. Free chips and salsa if you dine in. It's well worth the walk from the truck stop. I'll be back

Honey let me tell you.. It felt like I was back home in Cali.. The food here is the best taco in SLC.... I about died when I took my first bite.. The meat is so tender and seasoned very well.. The Sweet girl who works there is so sweet be patient with her she's by herself and does the best she can.... Go eat here!!!!! You will make you taste buds smile 😁

We had a delicious lunch at Nico’s. It is just a few steps from the Salt Lake City KOA. The food was very authentic and fresh. We had the Monday special for lunch with two tacos that also included rice, beans and a drink for $9.99. Chips and salsa are also included and they were very much above par. If a Nico’s were near where we live, I would be a frequent customer!

They also have breakfast, but they don’t open until 10:00. Trying to think if this would fit with our travel plans.

Was staying at the KOA next door and ate lunch here. Where I live there are a lot of Mexican restaurants and this beats them all. Its a small hole in the wall but the food is good and comes as big portions. The steak taco had tender steak and was very good. The chimichanga was good if not fried enough. Would definitely return

When saw on the news that this place was about to close, I didn’t get a chance to go until recently. Food was good, it got busy and unfortunately the guy was running the front on his own and wasn’t able to check on his tables and it was understandable. I recommend to try it and taste this homemade food place.

In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in SLC especially for the prices. Much better food than the Red Iguana even if the prices were the same. The service was also excellent, and the server was extremely kind. Well deserved 5 stars.

First time at Nico's and let me tell you, we were very impressed. The staff were very friendly and tentive. We received some chips and salsa while we waited for the main courses and we were no disappointed at all.

Nicos is an awesome family restaurant! They have delicious food and great customer service! I ordered my food and got my bag! I went home and realized that I had not received all my food! I came back to the restaurant and told them I didn’t get my food! They were very kind and quickly made it up and even gave me extra food! The portions are generous and the food is delicious! Be careful with the chipotle hot sauce! It is spicy yet flavorful!

Great food, quick Service. Tortillas and veggies on tacos very fresh. Good flavors spicy pork was perfect. Small but still have 6-7 tables. As a native Texan I approve!

Best damn jueves rancheros I've had! We spent a coupla nights on the road between MT and Phoenix at the neighboring KOA and tired of our motorhome meals. Next visit we'll ditch our "home-cooked" meals for Nico's cuisine. Friendly waitress, atmosphere is what it is ... maybe not a 5 but the overall 5 rating is deserved. My only concern is once the nearby housing is finished will anyone be able to get a table?

Tiny little restaurant with quick service and great food. The hidden gem, that sets this eatery above other Mexican restaurants that I have eaten at, is the salsa that is made specifically by the owner ( a very sweet lady!)! We were only in town for a few days and made a second stop before we left just for her salsa! Highly recommend!

It was my 1st time ordering to a Mexican food restaurant close to my job. I had also heard it was almost out of bussines last year so I wanted to support as well. I love Mole rojo so I ordered the Mole enchiladas and let me tell you that everything was very delicious. It is as authentic as my mother’s mole. Even the rice was red and cooked just right.I love love their Horchata!! I go here almost every Saturday and I have never been disappointed! I love how the owner is always very friendly and considerate;) I do recommend this place for Mexican food🙏🏼❤💙It’s my number 1 Togo place!

Greeted fast when I walked in. Lovely hostess grabbed a menu for me, but only one thing was on my mind. Quesadilla. Queso dia. I have been craving one for some time now. I had a $10 bill. It was $9.70 🤗

KOA Campground is right here. Hungry after a long drive to the ‘promised land’ of SLC? Why not stop by Nico’s Restaurant? I’m glad I did. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and fast service. Best of all, good food!

Stopped by for a quick lunch, was fantastic and very tasty! Everyone was happy. Spicy pork tacos were super yummy!!

Such good Mexican food!! We've been trying to find a good Mexican place in Salt Lake county for a longggg time and this place checked all the boxes!! Combination plate options, homemade chips and salsa, flavorful meat that wasn't too dry, great service. Definitely recommend Nicos :)
