The Keep

A symphony pre-concert meal. We has delicious French cocktails prior to dinner in the fashionable bar area overlooking the hotel lobby. Service was attentive but not over burdensome. The food was well prepared, presented and flavorful. The wine list was adequate and yet could be enhanced to be less corporate.

What an incredible spot for dinner. I had no idea that this place existed. Trish was our server and was friendly, knowledgeable and took care of us perfectly. The drinks were spot on and my wife loved the Brussel sprouts. I'm not a fan but I tried them and they were actually tasty. Our dinners were delicious and then we enjoyed a cocktail in the mezzanine before our show.

I won't detract stars from the review for this, but the bar has a very non-sociable and pretty much rude bartender working there. I can understand being frustrated with being busy with folks due to the shows however she came off as annoyed that I was even ordering additional drinks. Again...maybe she was having a bad night which we all have, but for the job she does, sometimes you have to fake it so customers don't catch on to your sour mood.

Perfect for fine and casual dining. You are immersed into a 1920s era style dining experience. It is eclectic and beautifully designed. The food was elegantly served and tasted magnificent. I would highly recommend there brunch if you are looking for a new and amazing place, in downtown Columbus. It is within the hotel, on the second floor. You can enter via the side revolving doors or the ones next to the Starbucks. If you are staying in the hotel, they allow you to dine and charge to your room. Our server was very friendly, polite and informative. He provided great customer service as well as the employees. Very clean and well kept environment.

We visited for dinner. The hotel was a beautiful old building in downtown Columbus.
We entered the restaurant through a beautiful bar. The restaurant had a beautiful decor. I loved the grill, which was located in the middle of the eating area.
Everyone ordered different menu items, and we all enjoyed our meals.
I hope to visit here again on another visit to Columbus.

The Keep is a quaint, quiet and nicely decorated restaurant that serves as a good place to have a quiet conversation or business lunch, not far from the state capitol building. Their French Onion soup may be the best I have ever had. Service was excellent.

The chef Tim is a class act ! Our chicken was a little undercooked from our eyes( it was probably fine ) but he saw us looking at it from the kitchen. Then he came to our table and made us a whole new Chicken with the sides. So sweet and very helpful. They gave us dessert on the house and even a treat from Tim for our service dog.
Amazing little spot.

Incredible service. Tim, the amazing chef, absolutely loves accommodating vegans (sarcasm). He made a lovely spicy linguine! The non vegans also enjoyed their meals. Poor Russell, our waiter, was sadly attacked by his 6 month old chihuahua, Clementine and had to wear a large bandaid. This in no way impeded his ability to serve with patience, kindness and efficiency. But overall Tim the chef stole the show.
I highly recommend this restaurant in downtown Columbus!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Truly an amazing experience. Beautiful building and atmosphere. Food and drinks were very good. Everyone we talked to was very nice and helpful. I will definitely return.

I love brunch at The Keep. The atmosphere is that of a French bistro, with morning light streaming through the dining area. The Art Deco style of the hotel feels magical, especially with all of the holiday decorations. I fell off the wagon and had my first coffee in weeks, which did not disappoint. I had the beef short rib with a perfectly cooked egg and potatoes. The staff of The Keep is extremely welcoming, and service is excellent.

Great food and local craft beer selections. Was a bit loud after the theater crowd popped in.

What a beautiful restaurant and bar! Gorgeous atmosphere, exquisite drinks, delicious food and exceptional service! So fancy! I felt like I was in New York or Chicago.

Really enjoyed my experience here. I began with a glass of the Fortnight Cabernet. It was very crisp which I liked. I started with the charred octopus appetizer. The presentation was good and the flavors included on the plate complemented well with a citrus undertone. I enjoyed the dish overall. Next I went to the mushroom and artichoke salad which included several ingredients of varying flavor and textures. The goat cheese really set the flavors off. My main dish was the whole fish. The waitress gave me a suggestion for how to take it apart which made it very easy to eat with little interference from the bones. The arugula salad with. Buck peas and lobster tamarind complemented the fish well. After finishing the meal, I took the last drink of the fortnight Cabernet and as I had oxygenated during the meal, the character had totally changed. It finished quite mellow almost like a Merlot.

Food was phenomenal, and drinks were outstanding. The lamb shank was the best lamb dish I have eaten in a long time and if you enjoy an old fashioned, or even if you don't it's that good, go for the fig.

I literally had the best Poutine that I've ever eaten here! I've tried a couple places in canada and the U.S. and I would put this one up against anybody's! Great atmosphere, great food, accurate portion sizes and great fast service!

I didn’t want to write this review because I didn’t want to let out the secret of one of the best breakfast places in Columbus. The French toast melts in your mouth with the wam maple syrup. The bacon is top grade and meaty. The only con is the parking. Make sure to get there in time to find parking, you can park in the garage or the street parking with the meters. The meters take credit cards.

On a busy Saturday night, we were able to snag a seat at The Keep. is I ordered the Happy Camper drink which was basically a liquified s’more. Their Masala Chai Old Fashioned was also magnifique 🤌🏽.

Patrick is awesome. Smoked rosemary old fashioned is awesome.

Such great food! Charcuterie and scallops were amazing!

I am so impressed with their Thanksgiving carryout menu. The staff was outstanding throughout the whole process, with a smooth pick up, and delicious food. Thank you, The Keep for making this Thanksgiving so special!
