This is our favorite place to go for food and drinks. The food is always excellent and cooked perfectly! Highly recommend!

Had a great fish fry last night- huge pieces of crispy deep fried cod with all of the extras. Cajun seasoned fish available too, or fried shrimp. The place was packed, which says a lot for it being the middle of March! Point Snow Pilot on tap (Pabst too!)

Food and 2 bloody marys were good. A little pricey, but the quality was good!

Compliments to the chef! Best burger we've had in a long time. Cooked perfectly to medium. Deep fried mushrooms and French fries were also good.

First time here... We came here for the Friday Fish Fry because of the great google reviews! Fish fry was absolutely amazing! The best fish fry I have had in a very long time! Unfortunately, the Bartender was not very friendly, from the moment we walked in she seemed to have an attitude with us.... Not sure why - kind of uncomfortable... but it did take away from the visit. A smile and genuine kindness goes a long way and keeps customers coming back.

Burgers were great. Bartender was friendly and the bar had a cozy vibe. Great Northwoods stop.

We like Whitman's. Great circular bar so it's easy to have conversations and interact with others. The food is great bar food and more. The soups are delicious. There's t.v.'s, music, and additional seating beyond the bar. Clean and organized but not so updated as to lose the up north feel.

Good food, good atmosphere good service great wings. Ok burger ok fries. Cold beer reasonable prices. The place is clean. Parking can be an issue but not often.

Visiting from NJ for a bike trip. Went to several other places but all were closed. Found yhis bar and was excited to get a burger but long behold... they only had wings (and soup/chili) available with it being Tuesday. I gave in and ordered. They were actually really good and the beer was cold - love the Alaskan lager. The main reason I'm giving this 5 stars is because of the bartender. One man behind the bar AND serving food... for an entirely packed bar, even tables. He worked his tail off and got it done. Did not ever stop moving. I even added onions last minute onto my chili and he made it happen. Keep up the great work! It's not going unnoticed or unappreciated.

Best wings I've ever had.

Last of the great dive bars. Though it's too busy to call it a dive. Locally owned by the best of people. Grilled burgers are the best around. Wing nights Tuesday and Thursdays. Always a great cocktail and some of fairest prices around. Keep coming back year after year. Don't miss the farewell to summer party on labor day. Worth extending you holiday an extra day!! Too much fun...

Friday fish fry is very good. Everything was perfect. Great burgers. Friendly staff. The cook even comes out to make sure you were happy with his food. Very reasonable prices. Definitely will be my go to place.

Nice Wisconsin hometown bar and grill with some great burgers. Comfortable atmosphere, definitely a local hangout that you can sit down and relax after a long day and sip on your favorite beverage.

The cook is amazing amazing amazing makes the good exactly like I want so very excited about this bar
