BEYOND AMAZING. So I took my 20+ year old Corvette in for a complete fluid change and inspection and after talking with Mike I realized that America still has a true 10th degree black belt relative to Auto Mechanic Professionals. Mike is, hands down, the best "car guy" I've worked with in 40 years of driving. He is a wealth of knowledge, an amazing technician and 100% honest. You will not be disappointed. 5 Stars+.

A superb company that stands behind quality products. I bought an MGW-P shortshifter from them. It arrived on time, as expected, with excellent build quality and machining. The shifter itself feels amazing and made my 05 GTO that much more fun to drive daily.

Just had them tune my Charger after having long tube headers installed and wow, what a great shop. Mike is a great guy and they have some sweet toys in there shop. I highly recommend this shop for performance. My charger is a whole new car. Much smoother shifting and really opened the 5.7 Hemi up and lets it breathe.

Former Automotive R&D engineer by trade. Builds cars right. Has become a household name in the Dayton car community but also well beyond the borders of the state - I'm continually surprised when people in PA, MI, IN, KY, etc ask who did the work and know the name well. This shop stays busy due to high demand so plan appropriately. You will be happy you picked them.

I went to Mike at Proxes a little apprehensive since my 01’ Z06 only has 10k orig. miles and I’m a bit ocd and picky LOL. I took a chance cuz I wanted to feel excited about my car again. NO REGRETS!!! I had two goals in mind and that was to get a show quality install AND over 600rwhp. Mike knocked it out of the park with a BEAUTIFUL install that was even better than my expectations AND the car made 629rwhp:) Mike did a full supercharger kit, meth injection and several other things that I am very happy with. Brought my 2011 Camaro SS in for a tune after installing a Cold Air Induction cold air intake (CAI). They did a great job. The car's rwhp prior to the CAI was 362 and the rwhp after the CAI install and tune is 401. I could not be happier. I bought the car used and they were able to tell me what the previous owner had done to the car in terms of mods (that had been removed before I bought it) and corrected the tune for the current configuration. They also made many suggestions for future mods. I 100% endorse them.

Mike rebuilt my LS2 after it spun a rod in a high-g force corner, starving the engine of oil on a road course. He works with machine shop for boring and honing and did fantastic work. Dnyo tuning after getting the engine back in, we found the previous (local) tuner didnt tune for both speed density and MAF, Mike did- which helped me later when I switched intake setups and had to run Speed Density for a while before installing a different type of MAF.

Purchased a MGW-P shifter and received it well within the stated four to six week delivery time frame.

HOLY CRAP the quality of the shifter is incredible. The feel is mechanical, notchy, and solid.

The throws are the perfect length.

I highly recommended the MGW-P shifter for ANYONE considering an aftermarket shifter.

Mike tuned my 2004 CTS-V. He knows his stuff! I gained 45 whp after headers, exhaust and tune. Car pulls much harder now, very satisfied.

This is one of the best high performance and tuning shops in the Midwest! They dyno tuned my car and gave it back in the same day!

Mike does a great job of getting the most power out of your car within your budget. He also tunes cars on his dyno in house.
