The Gas Light Cafe

Had the fish and chips was very good and not expensive.
They cleaned of a table and sat us and our food was out in seemed like 10 minutes. Very quick. My son had a burger and fries and he said it was good.

I grew up walking past this place on a regular basis and was curious about the people and music that I could hear inside.
Fast forward to myself as an adult who enjoys a stiff drink, friendly faces, and a great tuna melt, The Gas Light Cafe has NEVER disappointed. The incredible staff greets you as you enter the neighborhood bar (special ❤ to Ms. Gina), and it's easy to strike up a conversation with fellow patrons.

We always have a great time here. The food is always great and the Margaritas are awesome. They also have great prices. It feels like home when you come here.

A venerable institution in Pleasant Ridge. Known for their hamburgers they also have appetizers and other sandwiches in addition to a proper bar for those who want a drink and watch the game. Park in back and enter from rear. Laid back and friendly staff is a plus.

Small & cozy neighborhood bar.
Super friendly staff that answers questions & remembers who you are.
Go in by yourself, with a buddy, your spouse, your family or the whole gang. Heck, go in after a school or sporting event.
Kids aren't unusual at The Gaslight. Despite it's size, they (kids) never seem to be in the way there.
Drink pours are never short. Beer or booze.
I'd have given 5 stars, but that only comes with a big bourbon selection!

Good daily specials. By that I mean no matter what it is, it'll be good.
Full of regulars but always room for the new visitor. Sidle up to a stranger at the bar & I swear - chances are, you'll know them by name shortly... ---> And with few new stories to tell.
A great place to stop for lunch, a game, some drinks & some laughs.

Awesome hole in the wall spot that really makes you feel at home.

9 booths along the wall. 10+ seats at the bar. A few tables. At 7:30 on a Tuesday it took about 30 seconds to be served.

Low key. Simple. Try it out!

(Also, the bartender complimented my kit. Can't beat it really.)

BLT and burgers are out of this world - fries are excellent. Stopped in after drinks at Nine Giants and shopping at the record shop - will 100% go back.

Busy but not crowded on a Thursday night. Pleasant atmosphere sitting at the bar and the booths all look comfortable. Diverse crowd if that is important to you. Food tasted great and came with ample amount of fries. Employees and customers alike were all friendly .

Local pub with yummy food, nice portions, great neighborhood atmosphere.

Been going here my whole life (slightly biased), and I haven’t had a better burger than Gaslight. Consistently delicious food.

Great burgers excellent grilled ham and cheese and awesome soup. It’s a cute little bar with excellent staff i the heart of pleasant ridge . Excellent example of a cute little hole in the wall bar . Fun atmosphere cool seating area and great staff . The food is completely worth the prices .

Always get good drinks here and they're cheap! The food is served hot, fresh, and tasty 😋

Probably the best burger I’ve had. I don’t care for their fries but the taste of the burger makes up for it. Clean, unpretentious, and friendly - and reasonably priced. Everyone raves about Zips in Mt Lookout - this is 10x better and half the price.

Fast friendly service with delicious food. Great setting with old time local feel. We got the gas light burger and onion rings. Food was hot and fresh and cooked perfect. We got thanks for stopping by and see you next time as we left. Definitely recommend!!

Looking for a local dive with a great atmosphere? Gas Light Cafe is it. We just moved to Pleasant Ridge 2 months ago and have been checking out all of the local spots. Gas Light provides a chill atmosphere with a good selection of drinks and great food. I had the Gas Light Burger, and now I may never order anything else on the menu. It was that good. Our servers were the sister combo of Julie and Amy who both were very friendly and made it feel like we had been coming to Gas Light Cafe for years. I have a feeling we will be making many trips back to GLC in the future. Fantastic experience.

I love Gas Light. Cool small bar atmosphere with, in my opinion, the best burger in the city. Plenty of craft beer options. One of my favorite “hole in the wall” locations.

One of the top local bars in the city. Staff is great all around, make you feel like family. Justin and Cody may be the best weekend duo in the city. Food is also lights out. Don’t miss out on this Cincinnati staple. Don’t, plz, forget the top burger in the tristate
