Goodkind Coffee

The drip is good, the espresso is alright, the seasonal drinks can be excellent. There's a small selection of baked goods and some vegan gluten free options. Nice seats, clean space and some good comfy chairs. There's some outlets for charging. Street parking or a public lot west of the building.

Probably some of the best coffee I’ve had. The Ethiopian light roast was incredible. Espresso was on point too. For coffee people, like true coffee people this is an absolutely fantastic spot. I wish I lived here so I could frequent more often. And if their no frills coffee is this good, you know there specialty drinks are even more delicious. Not to mention they have bagels from Cleveland Bagel Company. Good Kind does a coffee shop justice. Vibes & Service on par with the rest of the shop. High quality across the board.

The best coffee around & I’ve always enjoyed the esthetic design. Tried them all in Lakewood & trust me, if you want real coffee that isn’t watered down & made fresh this be the spot.

I like to visit cafes around the area, this cafe had a very cozy environment. I ordered the rosemary mint mocha, it had a very good taste, the barista was very kind and helpful.

Jenny and I visited Goodkind Coffee last Saturday with high expectations. We were not disappointed. The drip coffee was authentic and the Camarillo tea was very satisfying. When visiting Goodkind, be sure to order the cinnamon rolls. They were the best cinnamon rolls we have ever tasted. What a great place for a rest and conversation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great latte! I got the regular iced latte with a tiny bit of sweetener and it was as delicious!! Great atmosphere. Cute and very clean! Love all the windows in here to make it a nice and sunny space.

Absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops in the Cleveland area. Cleveland has an incredible coffee scene happening.
Goodkind serves coffee from the Cleveland local roaster, Duck Rabbit and occasionally coffee from Dorothea roasters. The coffee I have here is always delicious. The baristas are always kind and I've witnessed them having in depth conversations with customers and investing in them. Always cool to see.
The menu is diverse. The drinks are innovative with new drinks being released seasonally.
The place is clean and the cafe environment is very enjoyable.

I guess I would consider myself somewhat of a regular here by this point? Our favorite local coffee spot by far. Staff is very kind and personable, atmosphere is great, lots of outlets making it a nice remote work location. Coffee is superb and they have a great little food selection too (recommend the cinnamon roll or rosemary bagel) :)

love this little spot in lakewood. they recently updated their dining room and now there’s a little more seating for sitting and doing work. it’s got such a sweet charm and the drinks are quite tasty. they also usually have some gluten free pastry options

Best coffee Ive had in Cleveland! I will keep coming for the Cafe Mocha. I'd like to see this shop expand into a local franchise.

Beautifully decorated, quiet atmosphere, delicious food, and great coffee.

A courteous barista, scratch made drinks, and super cute decor: what isn't there to love? They make their own chai concentrate which makes a mean latte. They have your general breakfast stop and go foods such as croissants and yogurt parfaits The location is near a lot of lunch and dinner spots, so if granola and breakfast fare isn't your jibe, all you have to do is walk 500 feet.

I stopped in for a quick bite, to go. Service was quick despite being busy (which speaks well of it). Nice place. Appear clean. Staff all seemed very nice.

Absolutely love this place. Great storefront, cozy/welcoming vibe inside, and great coffee (some of the best drip coffee I've had in a long time). So happy the owners followed their passion and opened this place. If you haven't visited, go. You will not be disappointed.

Goodkind is an awesome coffee shop! Definitely worth checking out if you find yourself on Madison in Lakewood. They have a decent amount of seating and a clean prep area and clean bathrooms. Service is quick, the baristas are friendly and the drinks are great!

Hipster neighborhood cafe. Since its recent renovation, the interior is slightly less vintage cozy, but the baristas and staff are just as friendly as ever.

You'll find excellent basic brews here along with a rotating seasonal menu with quirky creations such as cold brew with rhubarb syrup or with lime juice and vanilla. To munch on, there's a small selection of pastries from local bakeries, or you can get a burrito and other packaged goods from a local chef/caterer formerly from Tartine Bistro.

Most patrons are locals in the area and it's gratifying to see the relationship between baristas and the customers. If you've got a pup, they're sure to get a treat too. Being pretty small, there's only a few round tables big enough to squeeze 1-2 people, and a larger dining table with some outlets that you'll be lucky to snag.

One feature that I'm glad wasn't replaced in the redecoration are the restrooms with their old-timey encyclopedia wallpaper. While the font is a little too small to read from the comfort of the toilet seat, it's an inspiring setting for anyone looking to do some creative work.

I really enjoyed this coffee. My daughter & I decided to try a different coffee shop every week or so in Lakewood. I'd have to say this was my favorite. All the shops we visited were equally welcoming & friendly but this tasted amazing! Will be back for sure. Cookies are great too!!
